Thanks for accepting my request! Hmmm, so far I've only read the first four Kate Daniels books (plus one of the novellas), and the first three Innkeeper books. And as much as I'm enjoying KD, as a whole I think I might like Innkeeper slightly more...although only by the tiniest fraction. They're just such fun, and pure escapism. And I kind of want Orro to be my personal chef.
What about you?

See you around! :D

Happy New Year! Just want to stop by and wish you all the best for the upcoming year and may your 2019 be filled with happiness, love, laughter, and most important of all, tons of wonderful books! Look forward to having more bookish chats with you. xoxo

Btw, I haven't forgotten about Kiss of Steel. I'll probably be ready in a couple of days. :D

How are you?

I finished Kiss of Steel and I freaking LOVED it!
Of course the gr review monster ate my review and I'm far too lazy to write it again but in it I thanked you profusely for bringing this one to my attention.
I figured if I wasn't going to re-write my review I needed to at least still thank you.
So, um...

i've never read the hating game but i've heard about it & just added it to my ever-growing stack of tbr xDDD have you read it? :))

So glad you are enjoying Embraced by the Highlander! I love Donna Fletcher's book..."
Looks like I spoke too soon about The Highlander's Embrace --- sorry it didn't float your boat so much :( Donna Fletcher writes books that go back to the Picts in the Dark Ages/Early Iron Age, so I was already used to her writing style and her H's mega-alpha behavior that I didn't put a lot of stock into it in this story. I like my smut historicals with some plot lines (which is what this falls into), but I also like my smut historicals with some more depth (like Tessa Dare, Lily Blackwood, some Julie Garwoods. etc.). :)

So glad you are enjoying Embraced by the Highlander! I love Donna Fletcher's books :)

Goddess of the Hunt -->

I’ve had that profile pic for years now, but I still love it so much that I just can’t get myself to change it. You are the first to comment on a 90’s vibe! I’m an 80’s baby and a 90’s kid so I love that!

Hope to see you around lady with the most stan-worthy name ever [[also thank you for accepting my FR]].💛🕊

I forgot to reply to your comment on my profile sorry :(
I love HR. I hadn't really seen your books when I added you just that status.I will check them out when I get some time. Only a small fraction of all the HR I have read is on my shelves yet. :P
I haven't been able to read Laura Kinsale.
Everytime I try something unavoidable crops up and I have to abandon it. I think I have started Flowers from the Storm 5-6 times and have maximum gotten to the point where a presentation is given before I have had to stop.
I also see you haven't read two of my all time happy books -The Perfect Rake and Romancing the Duke. - Both highly recommended!

😂 well, with a total amount of 8 cats (pulse 10 strays) I think I deserve the title....until I turn 45 & then I’ll add “Supreme Cat Lady” 😆
But thank you so much for accepting my friend request! Can’t wait to chat with you 🖤

Goodreads HQ was actually really cool and had a bunch of book themed rooms and shelves of free books. It's basically my idea of nirvana. It's also 3 blocks away from where I work! (Which is kind of a blessing and a curse since I don't work there.)

The Tied Man and Schadenfreude are my favourite dark romances. I hope that you like them, too!!!
When books become unavailable on Amazon, I usually go to Smashwords and check if the authors are selling the book as an epub/mobi file, rather than it going directly to Kindle.
Her Master's Courtesan is available at Smashwords:
https://www.smashwords.com/books/view...
But unfortunately, The One Worth Finding is not :(
And thank you for the recommendation! I'll definitely check out The Last Innocent Hour. :D

Deliver is definitely a favourite dark romance of mine, as well. I see you recently read Tender Mercies by Kitty Thomas...my personal favourite of hers is Comfort Food. It's pretty dark, but it really goes into psychology of those suffering from Stockholm Syndrome. I read it in one sitting because it completely captivated me!
I think my ultimate favourite is The Tied Man by Tabitha McGowan. It's not necessarily the "best-written one", but I was so invested in the characters that I re-read it on a regular basis. I also like Schadenfreude by 19 which is probably the darkest I've ever read, and takes place in Holocaust-era Germany. The One Worth Finding by Teresa Silberstern isn't dark, but it does depict an accurate BDSM relationship (unlike 50 Shades of Grey cough cough). ;)
Others I've read and enjoyed are: Break Her by B.G. Harlen, Killing Sarai by J.A. Redmerski, The Siren by Tiffany Reisz, Captive in the Dark by C.J. Roberts, & Her Master's Courtesan by Lily White

and wowowowoowowowowowwwo i think i should read more romance so that i can live immortaly 😂🙌🏼 huzzah thank you for giving me the key to life & immortality

*sighs* I know I really just haven't had the time to spend in the book community, my life has been so stressful lately!! But I'm hoping to get caught up on my reviews very soon! *hugs*
Thank you for your sweet message my friend! ☺️💘

Awkward and Popular go hand in hand , basically the reason why Bloopers exist :P
Besides seeing that you're 444 years old (check your profile if you didnt know it already xD ) and can totally smile and pose for a pic while sitting on a rocking Unicorn , I bet you're a fun person to be around (☞⌐▀͡ ͜ʖ͡▀ )☞

I also can't wait to compare notes with you on some of our mutuals altho I ma pretty much bad at fangirling/boying and discussing so bear with me xD
Also I have barley updated my read list so if you're just surprised at this little amount, I think you'd faint if I were to complete it 100 % xD
Also wow to think I am friend with a real life author *nervous af*
navigating in your profile is surely different haha!
