CORN

corn is a small hard seed

corn from Delft
is good for elves

white corn, yellow, Indian

is this kernel a kernel of corn?

I just wanted to add (because I noticed that you're getting into Anne Carson) that my favorite Anne Carson titles are Plainwater (in particular, her essay on traveling the Pilgrim's Road in Spain called "Kinds of Water") and Autobiography of Red, her blank verse novel.

Eros The Bittersweet is amazing, and Glass, Irony and God comes after that for me, followed by Economy of the Unlost.

This is the hot novelist of 2008. Buy that book, people. You will be ablet to tell others "I told you so!"
