Hi Mary-Thank you for inviting me to be your friend. Your book looks interesting and I will add it to my reading list. When you get a chance, and when you need a humorous lift of laughter from this crazy economy, try checking out my website, www.laughterawbd.com and read my book of essays on everyday common living (You will identify with and find yourself among my many zany friends and family), Laughter: A Woman's Best Defense. Keep writing! Sue

Thanks for the friend request, Mary. I see we have some common ground - I also enjoy hiking and I would have loved your previous job as a fabric seller as I do some quilting when I get the chance. Look forward to seeing you at Next Best Book Club!Dianne Ascroft,

Mary...thanks for the invite into your circle of friends....wishing you all the best in 2008...definitely looking forward to sharing chats, reviews and any/all book recommendations you may have...Happy Reading :-)
Thank you for the add! I was lucky enough to visit Dominica in May of 2007, and it is an amazing island.
Mary, your book sounds marvelous. My best wishes on the launch. How lovely that you worked in Colonial Williamburg and Jamestown. I treasure the trip there with my younger daughter years ago. She wore her "American Girl" colonial dress when we dined at a tavern. Just last night I was remembering how sweet and beautiful she looked by candlelight as we stepped back in time.
