Does anyone remember a series of adolescent books featuring sister detectives? Back in the days of reading Nancy Drew, I read this other series and actually preferred it. Yet all I can remember is a character named 'Leticia or Letty' who was always getting in the sisters way as they solved crimes.

This pathetic human hadn’t even lasted long enough to regain consciousness. Annoyed he counted back this made his fourth attempt in the past few weeks and every one of them had died within minutes.
