I think I have a problem because I just couldn't read it so I'm going to read armeggedon outta here first
The movie is supposed to be released soon and I saw the trailer on youtube.
I went on youtube. The only trailers I saw are fanmade. Then I went on IMDB. Nothing. Thanks for getting my hopes up (fyi: that was sarcasm).
According to Derek Landy himself (1st September 2014) the movie rights to Skulduggery Pleasant have been purchased by a film company and there will be an announcement soon about a movie. He says that it is with the legal department at the moment and he can't make any announcement until everything is signed. He will be or has been involved in writing the script. Hope this helps!

I'm a Whovian too, but I just can't seem to be able to imagine any of the main characters being played by actors from Doctor Who. I don't know why. I think Johnny Depp would be really great for Springheeled Jack, and Benedict Cumberbatch for Dusk or Wreath. Hannah Spearritt would be a great Tanith, too. By the way, I met Derek today.

I have that post series-is-over moments too, but I usually cure it by rereading the books. I am currently on the second book in Tamora Pierce's "Circle of Magic" series even though I have read the entire thing, plus the sequel series, half a dozen times already.
I haven't gotten past book 3 because the library in my town doesn't go past that and I've been too broke to buy the rest.
same i havent been able to go to the library to borrow any books too and i really want to read the last book and the short stories
lol yeah I'll get myself kicked out before it even starts but if anyone talks during the movie i wil go absolutely mad
We'd be the ones cosplaying as the characters and getting strange looks from everyone else in the theater.

C'mon guys, we have to trust derek with this
Angelbornfromfire wrote: "all I'm wondering is who will play Valkyrie and who will play Skulduggery"That is the question

I went to that book signing and he said that he is waiting for replies from this mysterious company

When I went to see "Hunger Games" with my family, I kept leaning over and spouting off random facts to my mother in order to help her understand it more, but I can't help wondering if she started getting annoyed after a while.
I'd be the nerdy girl who gets really excited about the movie, and my family will only go see it because I want to, and they'll just sit there thinking this is just another movie while I am trying very hard to contain my fangirling so as to not scare everyone else in the theater.

hahaha a few of my friends love skulduggery pleasant though so ill probably have to go with them if i want to enjoy the movie
Alyssa wrote: "I've told people about it, but I don't know if any of them have ever actually read it."yeah same i bet they havent even if i go on about it 24/7
