They are also releasing new covers for the whole first series next year as well. I can't wait to see what Tom Percival will do this time!

I hope they make these books into movies, but that they don't leave bits out like the Harry Potter movies. (no S.P.E.W!)

I hope so because they could turn these books into really great movies, I also hope they work on it ASAP!
It's kind of sad seeing people asking the same question on the same post 5 years later. I don't think it's going to happen guys.
Imagine how bad it would be if Skulduggery would droping f-bombs and making akward sex refrences in order for the movie to 'earn' a pg rating? And Stephanie played by a sexy 25yo? It could be made into a great movie, but it could also be a very bad one. I'm glad Derek Landy has the guts to wait for a good script.

"Yeah me to, This is why Derek Landy is one of my favourite authors, he doesn't just give away his movie rights to big movie companies even if the script is bad, he waits until they make a good script. Oh, but when a good script is finally made and a movie is released more people are going to want to read Skulduggery Pleasant and it will get the recognition it deserves, maybe even surpassing the Harry Potter franchise.

I know it probably wont happy (Sucks) but me and my sister were just chatting and we got onto the topic of a Skulduggery Pleasant movie and she walked off and came back about half an hour later with a whole list of actors who could play who. and we spent the rest of the afternoon doing research lmao
I think it is, though I seriously hope not, cause I have Skulduggery's voice when I read his text, and the movie will ruin that for me. Plus they always change major events in the movie
