You know what I think.He just ditched the movie to focus on his books.
If this is that, then I'll hope one day some buy rights off him and make a movie...but someone who stays true to source material.

yeah skulduggery is an adept elemental and a necromancer
I like his necromancy way more than adept. even though his elemental till the end became more like Full metal alchemist techniques

the movie's gonna look kinda weird though cause they are going to get a real person to play skulduggery and just photoshop his head. So he's gonna look really bulky
