Valerie (valeriemae) | 56 comments I've been watching the show on YouTube since it first switched to that format. I love it! I love both sword and laser books, but haven't read them extensively so I love all the new suggestions, One of the little things I love about the show is the books on display behind Tom and Veronica. I think I may have to start jotting down the titles. I've seen some I know, some I recognize from previous shows and some I haven't read. The books seem to change each time I watch. Any thoughts on how they choose the books they have on display in the background?

Officer_Friendly | 17 comments I completely agree, I'd probably end up reading all of the displayed books...

Bebe | 8 comments I recognized some in the background, but I always wished their was a list available so I could read them.

Valerie (valeriemae) | 56 comments Good to clarify. I meant switch formats in that they had added the video show to their podcasts.
I would love it if they added a list of those books. :)

Tyler Lutz (tylerlutz) | 233 comments I think there is some Star Wars vinyl in there as well...

Arrika Arrachne | 43 comments Ive been picking up the books I have seen displayed there as well as those mentioned in quick reference at twice the rate of the monthly book picks. Sadly i got stuck on the last few months picks while zooming through the alt options that Sword and Laser have provided me. Though I have to say - Leviathan was excellently enjoyable. Im glad i finally dug into it last week.

Alex | 91 comments They rotate the books every episode, I've noticed, and it's great looking out for the different ones and new ones that pop up! ^_^

Kris (kvolk) I think they are seeing who pays attention...though a rare copy of United Moon Colonies is always evident.

Most of those books I pulled off my shelf when we started doing video, but we also get some sent to us by publishers and Chris is good about mixing them up so they move around a bit.

I'll work on making a list and posting it up here. The Rothfuss book is signed! And yes that is Count Zero hardback.

The laserdisc is from one of the TWiT engineers (Burke) who found it at a Goodwill.

I've noticed a lot of the books in the background seem to be ones that have been read for the book club, regardless, this has been a fun list for me to look at to find new stuff to read! It turned me on to Gene Wolfe, who I can't wait to start reading.
