Great, I'm planning on starting this one for a reread as soon as the Toppler is over :)

Max Brooks can be a bit hard to swallow. I really liked WWZ, but I couldn't stand his Zombie Survival Guide.

I really enjoyed this book. It was more about the people encountering and fighting the zombies, than the zombies themselves. It frustrated me how slow the government was to react to the outbreak, and obviously slow to try to contain it. Some hard decisions ended up having to be made about who to save and who to sacrifice.
