Ewkinerk | 11 comments Freakonomics is a very interesting book and is different from other books in many ways. It is different from The Power of One in the way that it does not have a story line. Freakonomics does not even have common aspects between chapters. Besides from a few references to previous chapters, each chapter could be read individually. It does not have a moral or a story line, but it does have a theme: economics. “Economics is, at root, the study of incentives” (16). The mention of incentives travels throughout the entire book and is used to explain many actions described in the book.
