Could Sutton actually be in a coma?

Possibly. I hadn't thought about that before, but it's a possiblity. But Sutton should have ID on her, and it would be big news to have an unidentified teenage girl in hospital. Besides, Mr Mercer works in a hospital. Don't they spread the news? And she definitely has an enemy, who wants to kill her.

I'm probably being pessimistic here though. You can't guess anything in Sara Shepard's books! They're so full of suspense, and random twists in the storyline, that anything's a possibility.

She could be in another state and is in a coma. The coma causes her to see through her sisters eyes and the hospital doesn't know who she is because Becky just dropped her off there then quickly got back to the canyon.

This would be a big shocker if Sutton is just in a coma or one of those out of body experiences, because Sara's been leading us on to believe that Sutton is dead. Then again, you can never expect anything from Sara. You can have suspicions, but nothing is fact until Sara says it is.

It occurred to me that she could be in a coma. I hope so because after reading the new novella about Sutton and told by Sutton I'd like to see more of her in the books. OR what if Emma is Sutton with Amnesia causing some delusion!

I really hope that Sutton is still out there, alive! It would be an awesome twist to the series if she was in a coma. When she wakes up, she could have some answers to the questions we've been wondering all along.

I'm not the only one! I been thinking that when I was reading Hide & Seek ,to tell you the true not bragging or anything- (Spoliers) I had a feeling that she was related to the Mercers

I don't think so because the way the author puts the dead twin in the book. like she will say while I'm watching or something if she was alive she wouldn't say anything like that. .... my opinion

says in the book description that her body shows up in the canyon...not to be a pessimist (when I first heard this theory I wanted her to be alive, too...) but there's a slim chance of her being in a coma. I don't know, though. Maybe?
