5.2 - Do It Again
Read a book that would also work for another task in this challenge. The other task cannot be one that is actually or essentially free choice - for instance, you cannot use 15.2B ("eagerly awaiting") or 15.10 (free choice). A list of the tasks that will not work will be kept in post 2 of the help thread.

You cannot claim this book for both tasks, but this book must be one that could have been used for another task. REQUIRED: specify the other task for which the book could have been used in your post and explain how it fits that task.

Other tasks that don't work:

15.2B
15.10

No, it has to be "another task" in the challenge.

sure, that's fine. Really, any task that involves some sort of limitations - that is, one that is not really "free choice" - is fine for this one.

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1114 comments Just to make sure I've got this right, it's just any book that would work with another (non-free-for-all) task? So, for example, if I wanted to read two books with emails in the book (Task 30.1, Option 5), I could do that? In other words, I don't have to do all of task 30.1 over again, but rather just pick any book that would fit into 30.1?

(For some reason, I wrote down "do a task twice" and it's confusing me...)

And for that matter, for Task 30.1, I rolled a 4 and 5, but could I pick a book that fit options 1, 2, 3, etc.?

You don't have to do the whole task if it's a 2 book task - just one. And, it can be a different option than the one you used for the original task - I know sometimes there are 3 options that are calling my name - and this let's you do all 3! When you post, be sure and indicate which task it fits, so that Dlmrose doesn't have to guess.

certainly - same or different - just pretend that you're getting ready to do task 20.6 for the first time!

Sue (suetinge) | 1578 comments I'm hoping I can use a book that's 87 pages since this is a 5 pointer and the book would work for either 15.6 or 25.5 except for the length.

That's okay. Just point out when you post that I ok'd it in the help thread so DLMRose doesn't have to re-think it!

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1114 comments So... I'm planning to repeat Task 15.5, which is to read a book from a series of 10+ books... I wanted to fit in Chaos in Death (In Death, book #33.5)...

So it definitely fits that task. The problem is that it was recently published in print format in an anthology called The Unquiet, but has been released separately ONLY on audiobook so far (3 hours, 41 minutes long). And, of course, I'm an audiobook junkie, so that's the format I have available to me. I believe it's about 95 pages long (which would okay for one 5-point task, right?)... I'm VERY confident that it's over 80 equivalent pages, but what do I need to do to verify the length, since it's only on audio (rather than only ebook)? I could see if I can get my hands on the anthology from the library (looks like it's available) and get a page count... but I'm listening to it right now.

Sorry, Sara, but an audiobook has to exist in print form to be used. Since this only exists in an anthology in print form, the anthology itself would have to be used for a task, not just one story from the anthology - similarly, an audiobook that's just one part of an anthology won't work.

Sara ♥ (saranicole) | 1114 comments Nuts. Well, I have ZERO interest in the other stories, so I guess the 4 hours I spent today listening were just for fun! I was multitasking anyway! ;)
