Should this be a series?

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/96...
If so, what's the big difference?
I think that one can stay. Those are all related how-to books, all of which have to do with different aspects of how to take photos.

It is not actually written as it's own series, but as part of a series that already exists. Just because 2 books within a series have an extra little connection than the rest of the books in the series, should they have their own unofficial series (since they were not intended to be their own series).

Here is the official homepage: http://www.officialmhafh.blogspot.com/
Seems to be a series based on anthologies by a publisher? Is that okay?

Re: 8, there are series of anthologies (usually with thematic ties), but it sounds from this publisher page that this is not a series, or is possibly the first books of two related but different series (the YA anthologies and the adult anthologies, if the publication continues).

Thanks guys.

Nowhere that I can find. The website her GR profile lists as her official website makes no mention of an internal series.

I looked on the author's website
http://www.michellerowen.com/books/bo...
and she doesn't list these books as a series

I know publishers can't be a series, but what about this? It remind me of Harlequin Romance series.

UPDATE: it's deleted

This appears to be a series based on the Illustrator, but I can't be 100% sure that it isn't a series, just called something else.

Seems to me it can go.

I can't find out if it is a different numbering for another series or not.
Anyone else have any idea?

I'm not really sure what it is. Is it a series or an imprint?

Should they be a series?

If not every edition of a book is part of the "series", then it almost certainly isn't one. I zapped it.

Probably not. That one wasn't.

I have deleted about 6 or 7 of these series, but either they keep getting remade or there is a lot of them. I decided to ask because they just keep popping up and I wanted to make sure it wasn't my bad.

If anyone is interested, they can be found here:

If you click through the links for each imprint, all the books are listed by number.

Honestly, series for books by publishers vs. authors or not related the books themselves confuses me still. That is why I am checking with you guys.
It seems that "series" is a little ambiguous sometimes.
Those are all iffy but probably ok. Except maybe the Marines one, which seems to be everything ever published by the Corps.

If for no other reason, they are "numbered" with some editions having different numbers. Example: The Portable Walt Whitman being both #11 and #78.

ETA: The website linked is for the literacy program that sponsors the anthologies. They also have lists of recommended books (from other publishers).

If a super or rivka says it is okay, I would put a note in the series page that links to the response so it isn't deleted again.

So I'm not sure. Though I would say that if you/someone create/s the series again, I would number them based on the internal chronology the author provides.

It's a publisher."
No, it's a series. A series put out by a publisher - which most series are.

Not sure why you think Wellek Library Lectures in Critical Theory would be "iffy." That seems like a very obvious series. United by the same university publisher, the same institution where the lectures are given, and an overarching theme or subject matter (critical theory).

I don't see why not. They're created as part of a collection.

However, I would like a second opinion, as I am not familiar with these.
Second, I believe the following can go as they are simply foregin language versions of Goosebumps.

They do have different numbering in the various languages, but they are combined with their English originals, so they look really strange as a series.
Finally, some Arabic help on this one is needed. I beleive it is the Arabic Goosebumps. However the editions are separate from their English originals. I think these could be combined and the series deleted.

This is what smashwords says:
Destination Love Stories is a publisher of travel-themed romance. Our fun and flirty novels are set in destinations we’ve actually visited—like Maui, San Francisco and London, for starters. And while our characters are fictional, (or at least their names have been changed to protect the innocent) many of the places they visit in each locale actually do exist.
