question: Have anyone have read the four Silents books by C. E. Lawrence? Are we supposed to read them in order to get the story?

I hadn't read any of the others, and I was able to follow it just fine. Although it was clear that the characters sometimes referred to situations that were further explained in previous books, I didn't feel that I was missing necessary information to follow this particular story. Hope this helps!
