Crescendo
question
What happened to Nora and Patch?

I thoroughly enjoyed 'Hush Hush' and couldn't wait to start 'Crescendo'. However, I think Becca Fitzpatrick ruined the series by introducing the 'relationship' between Patch and Marcie. I'm reading 'Silence' at the moment and I still haven't gotten any insight to why this happened (apart from 'Patch was her guardian angel', lame)! Does anyone else think Nora and Patch's relationship has been severed?

agreed /\
plus it was probally part of the resion why she started hanging out with Scott. and stuff like that. but i dont think it Severed therer relationship. if anything i think it made it stornger. (bc when Nora thought they couldnt even make it though it and she basicaly hated his guys for what he did. they did.)

Nah I don't think so, Nora acted stupidly in Crescendo I'll admit that! She was stupidly jealous in the beginning then I felt she tried to cover that jealousy with the revelation of the archangels, but in the end of the book Patch admitted he didn't like hanging out with Marcie it was hell every moment he spent with her. I think Nora broke the relationship more then Patch did but he also wasn't very forthcoming with information for her either. I guess there was mistakes both sides.
I have to agree. I kind of see why Fitzpatrick added the 'relationship' between Marcie and Patch. She had to add more friction between the two. I just started reading Silence and I'm a little disappointed. I wish Patch was in there more. Of course I'm only 100 pages in, so I'm sure I'll see more of him later in the book.
I definitely agree...Fitzpatrick made Patch and Nora's relationship ruined because of Marcie so this drove me crazy while reading crescendo!Patch and Nora belong together!

Completely, and utterly, agree. I stayed up forever before I finally fell asleep, thinking, "Why on Earth did Becca do that? But.... But.... But.... They liked each other!" I felt like I had been dropped from a 100 story building, and pulled up again to fall once more. That butterfly feelings in your stomach. And it isn't the good butterfly feeling.
