Jackie | 5 comments While each story is set up and played out in tidy little chapters that always leave Sherlock Holmes relishing in his own brilliance and Dr. Watson marveling at his artful friend, this book was actually a lot of fun to read. A good summer beach/poolside read. And Doyle's descriptions of various settings both in London and the English countryside fit well within this theme. I even read one of the longer stories after finishing the short stories!

Hilary | 21 comments I love Sherlock Holmes! I've never "read" any of the stories, but I've listened to several on audio. Definitely worth a shot.

Varla Fiona (dory_42) I read some Holmes recently and loved it. Will definitely be reading more in the future.

Ella (ella1024) | 1 comments the stories are great, and the television adaptation from the 80s is quite good. if you enjoyed the stories, the show stays very true to them.
