Haha. I didn't even realize the connection until you pointed it out! But I did fall hard for both of them. Something about the villian having feelings for the MC is like my perfect crush read. :)Plus being a bad a** will always be my little downfall. lol!

Ash is a great example of how I hope the Darkling's story arc goes. Ash wasn't exactly...good in the beginning lol. His motives weren't so good for our little protagonist, but his growth as a character was amazing. Ash is one of my favorites. I hope the Darkling has a redemption storyline.

woooah. Me too. but The Darkling and Warner are extraordinary. I love them both <3 its hard for me to find books with guys like them
guys like them or not, every book has the potential for a character just as interesting, just they were never really evil or considered so! I'm currently reading a five book series called Half-Blood and the mc's boyfriend is such a heartthrob

He's a bad ass. He wears black. Has his own "followers", if you will. His ultimate goal is something that will devastate the world.
Now, I want to make it clear that I am not comparing who is better. I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this and kind of liked it because you can't help but like both characters!
I guess the good-villain in black will always be my downfall...
