A bunch of people say they hate her work, others claim they love it... What does this group think about this one famous author??

I don't hate her, but I don't love her either. I guess I just like her... I've read twilight and new moon. Haven't read the other books yet. I hope to read it soon tho.
I've read her books, and I loved them, but after a day, it's like you can't believe you've read them!
im not into twilight...its a creative plot but the vampire-werewolves thing creeps me out. theres also too much lovey dovey physical stuff in it (shudder)
The Twilight books are actually OK. I know lots hate them, but I think the actors in the movies kind of ruin them :\
Caro wrote: "what r the movies rated? jw"pg13 but the last one is a little racy and has one sex scene but its not that bad
Caro wrote: "ok...im not watching it then :P"well its only one minute and u can ask ur parents to watch it and skip it when that parts in but your not missing much if youve read the books you can skip this movie and move to the next its going to be much better

I didn't like Twilight... I read a couple chapters, but decided I wasn't into the book... And just wondering, why are they all named after times of day? And why is there an apple on the cover of the first one?

the second which was about the apple its becasue wehn edward and bella first meet edward picks up an apple that bella dropped and thats when they first met eye to eye (i guess)

So the cover has an apple because the vampire guy picked it up for the strange girl? Why not some epic fighting scene or something? An apple seems so anti-climatic...

True, it really comes down to her decision... Although if I was looking for a vampire and werewolf novel, I would lean away from the one that has an apple on it... The title is okay for the theme I guess...

Stephenie Meyer actually titled the book "Forks", but then the book company decided that night titles (aka vampire time) was more dramatic.

Haha well, I'm sure you know some stuff i'm clueless bout xD... and WELCOME! In case I forgot to welcome you, LOL
The reason for the apple on the cover of Twilight:"The apple on the cover of Twilight represents "forbidden fruit." I used the scripture from Genesis (located just after the table of contents) because I loved the phrase "the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil." Isn't this exactly what Bella ends up with? A working knowledge of what good is, and what evil is. The nice thing about the apple is it has so many symbolic roots. You've got the apple in Snow White, one bite and you're frozen forever in a state of not-quite-death... Then you have Paris and the golden apple in Greek mythology—look how much trouble that started. Apples are quite the versatile fruit. In the end, I love the beautiful simplicity of the picture. To me it says: choice."

Interesting stuff... I still wouldn't read a vampire book with an apple on it though... Oh, and HI FELLOW EVIL PERSON!

-_- Jazz, everyone didnt need to know that I am evil!!! :PReally? The cover was actually what caught my attention, I love it!
Well, I read half of Twilight. The main character annoyed me so much that I just couldn't finish it.
Stephenie Meyer's books are kind of a guilty pleasure to me, if you know what I mean. The writing is nothing special, Bella is a really weak character and the villains are really boring but I am into Edward, what can I do! xD
