TPBM are you in university? if so name a class that is actually interesting and you like it.

message 13952: by Janvi (new)

Janvi (janvipatel) Nope, still in high school. But I do enjoy maths. Mainly because the guy I sit with makes it a lot of fun with his continuos beatboxing, and we like, talk about everything annoying the hell out of the teacher. Math classes are like the highlight of the school hours, (after lunchtime, of course)

TPBM the reaction of people around you when you laughed like a crazy reading a book in public?

message 13967: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (wanderlust-disease) | 971 comments I usually just smile really hard trying to hold a laugh so I won't have to deal with this reaction exactly

TPBM what was your reaction when they announced quarantine?

message 13968: by Janvi (new)

Janvi (janvipatel) I like to go out. Like, A LOT. In fact, I LOVE being outside, because of personal reasons. And when they announced quarantine, I almost panicked. Then I was like ‘yeah, it’s just staying in, right? I could do it’. And I’m proud to say I am doing it, but dude, I have my days. The second day of quarantine, I was angry at myself, at the world. I cried whole day because I couldn’t go out for a run or for a walk to clear my head, neither I could go to the gym to sweat it out. And I couldn’t do any of those things that help me clear my head and calm down, so I just cried and cried and cried whole day. It’s crazy. I am literally going crazy staying in, and rereading all those books I loved have me on the edge.
I’m just happy that it’s not as strict as it was before and could go out as limited time as it is. Just that feel of fresh air on my face has me smiling.

message 13969: by Dan (new)

Dan Lutts (dan_lutts) | 346 comments Staying at home isn't a big deal for me because I work from home and spend a lot of time reading and doing other things inside. So my routine is pretty much the same. I do miss going out the way I used to but it's not big deal. My wife and I go grocery shopping once a week at a local non-chain grocery store and we pick up the mail at the Post Office every few days. I continue to support my two local booksellers by ordering books, which they leave outside for me to pick up. I also live in a rural area. So maybe that makes a difference from living in a city or large town.

TPBM same question

message 13970: by Ellen (new)

Ellen (wanderlust-disease) | 971 comments Well at first I was like great that is a great idea cause here in Greece they were suspicious that people who were diagnosed with the virus still went out of the house so to stop the spreading they took the measures really fast and I am proud that we were the first countries to do so. But a week after I went mad, everything bothered me, EVERYTHING. The sound of the television talking about the virus, my mom asking me anything from what to eat to where is her glasses. I just couldn't take it anymore. I think that this is a hard time for everyone.

TPBM same question or describe your routine now in quarantine

message 13971: by Janvi (new)

Janvi (janvipatel) My routine is quarantine is pretty simple. I wake up at six in the morning and before anything, I write the first thing that comes in my head in my diary. Then do my morning routine followed by two hours of any kind of physical activity. A shower, of course, then breakfast. And then I have online clases. In between I do school work. At two, finally when all school work and classes are done, I have lunch with family. Then read whatever book I am currently reading, or have a conference video call with my friends. I pass a great deal of time on GR too, updating my reading status, writing reviews and socializing a little. Then when I can, I make videos, or practice my handstand press or train with my cousin (we live together). I forgot to mention, I EAT a lot these days. Like a whole lot. It’s like, I got bored? Let’s raid the kitchen. I got bored? Let’s see what’s in the fridge. I got bored? Imma just go and steal some of my cousin’s prozis snack stash. And before going to bed, I read a couple of pages and write in my diary whatever it is in my mind before sleeping

message 13977: by Janvi (new)

Janvi (janvipatel) I, my cousin and a couple of our mutual friends have decided to spend a week at my family's beach house. It's going to be raining the whole weekend so, either we could go out and play with water or we could stay in and have cozy time near the fireplace, reading and talking. (And lots of cuddling in my cousin's case)

TPBM the same question.

TPBM Top 3 wishes?

message 13993: by Janvi (new)

Janvi (janvipatel) 1. Travel the world and see every thing, every spot of nature it has to offer. See different cultures, places, people...
2. Do something in life. I don’t want to live a monotonous long life, instead, I want to have an adventure and live it at my fullest and so something notable before I die. Even if I die when I’m 25, I won’t regret it.
3. Change the mentality of those parents who have their daughters caged. Show them that if they let a girl fly, she can do wonders. They can do as mica as guys can fi not more.

2.Travel all the countries in the world alone.
3.Be an influential speaker and change other people’s life.
My life goal as well as my motto is to do what I really want and be imperfect.....😇

message 13996: by Dalila (new)

Dalila Mandić (dalila93) | 147 comments Muleum by Erland Lu - It's about a 18 year old girl who loses her parents and she is left with enough money to live easy life, but she is in a lot of pain, she feels lost...

So after I read it, loved it, I started thinking... Here is a girl who has time, money and freedom to do what ever she wants.

So I started asking myself, If I had enough time, money and freedom, what would I do? Now, I try to use my time, money and freedom in the best way.

TPBM same question

message 13997: by Janvi (new)

Janvi (janvipatel) Throne of Glass changed my life. like, it turned it upside down. You see, I wasn't a big fan of reading. In fact, if you would've asked the fourteen-year-old me what I thought about reading, I would've told you it was utterly useless and pointless. That book, that whole series made me fall in love with reading. It made me see a whole different world. Whatever I believed about reading, that book changed them, proved them wrong. It made me realize many many things.

TPBM which book made you fall in love with reading?
