I don't know if this applies to just Mockingjay, but I think the song "We Found Love" (Rihanna) fits to THG in general.

In Mockingjay, the Hanging Tree by Lex Croucher would be a great song to represent the Hanging Tree. I know there are a lot of representations for the song, but I think Lex's is the best because it's a capella, upbeat, sweet and it sounds as if the Mockingjays are singing with her. It's really hard to explain, but if you listen to the song you will probably get what I mean.

i think that someone like florence + the machine should write a not-so-up-tempo song for the hunger games' next movie, like they have the right sound. i mean they just sound like hunger games ... also wide awake, lyric-wise, and it is just way too up-tempo like Lauren said. no bleeding love either ...because you can't put old-er songs in a movie like the hunger games 2 because a song everyone's heard before would just not work. even if it was new.

thanks :) well yeah, just like you can't put a old song like.. um don't wanna miss a thing by aerosmith in a movie like twilight or the hobbit movie (not that they're the same type:D) cannot be done. has to be new. anyway yeah ya get the point :)
