Anyone out there interested in a Duma Key buddy read? I’ve read the two Kings that won this month’s group read, and DK is sitting patiently on my shelf…

That was actually the one I voted for! I only read it once, years ago, but wouldn't mind revisiting that one. (For myself, it will likely be a few more weeks at least before I can think about reading commitments, though.)

Hi Kimberly! I voted for it too. Would August be a good time to start?

Hey Lisa and Gareth! I was also hoping Duma Key would win as well for the group reads.
I would love to join your BR and August works great for me too.
Hi Ginger! Wonderful, will be great to have you!I set up a discussion thread so other Duma Key-interested folks can spot it between now and August. Looking forward to this, guys!

Would anyone be interested in reading The Devil's Backbone in a few weeks or the beginning of august?
Would anybody wanna read The Deep by nick cutter with me? Reading it right now and thought it might be nice to have a buddy :D

Hi Mari! I'll join you if you don't mind a few days' delay as I wait for it to come to my library.
Robin wrote: "How do you link your books in the Comments so that they show up in bold font and link with the book info page please?"Just click on the "add book author" just above the comment box. There, you type the name of the book or author's.
I'm thinking of rereading John Dies at the End one of these days (no particular dates, somewhere in 2025). At least the first one which is one of my all-time favs 🤩 but I could go with the whole four novels if given time (they are quite long, I don't usually read novels but novellas). I liked them all ^^JDatE could fit both the movie title challenge (Beetlejuice - read a book with humorous horror) and the book cover challenge (skeleton/bones) depending on your edition of course so it might be a good occasion to tackle a bit of your 2025 goals 🙃
Would anyone be interested in buddy reading it/them with me?
Hi everyone. Chewable Orb and I are going to Buddy Read Horror Movie, by Paul Tremblay. Anyone else want to join us? Discussion thread posted here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
I just realised that members of this group might be interested in a buddy read of Ghosts by Edith Wharton, which I've recently started.

I have a few challenges going but I'd love to buddy read this with you.

The author JA Konrath does a good job of mixing humor with horror. He has a ton of books to chose from.

I still want to read it this year, but I don't have a date in mind, so I'll try to fit it in when you start ^^
