I've never heard of lies of lock lamora, but apparently I marked it to read at some point. Lol my list is so big I have no IDEA what I have on it, but I sure am glad I have one. :)I picked it up, it does look really good. Wormwood looks awesome too. London and anytime near the gaslight period, I'm in, no hesitation.
Cool! I've had Lies sitting here waiting to be read for a long time now, and I'd love to do a Buddy Read for it starting soon if anyone would like to join.
Natasa wrote: "I'd love to read Cabal but I don't have the book, maybe audio book but not sure and not in the mood for that anyway. Have so many CB books but this one not."I have it lendable on kindle if you want?
I'll keep you in mind for Wormwood K4tie. I'd love to join in on Lies, but don't have it. It sounds good!
K4tie wrote: "I would join in July on Lies. Feel free to start sooner. I don't want to hold you up."July works! I've got plenty to read in the meantime. :)
K4atie I kind of thought you'd be the one to have it lol.mobi is OK (even .epub) so whatever comes first to you to send...
Kate thank you a lot as well, but I'll bother K4tie this time, then I don't have to worry about the 14 days period...but don't worry, I totally have you in mind for your Tim Curran books lol from all the people who wanted to lend me his books you were the only one with that crazy amount of his books, I was amazed it managed to fit in your message ;) I managed to get hold of some of his books but that are many I want to read (all actually) so I'll bother your kindness sop enough :)
Thank you as always!I'm still waiting for that glorious moment when I will be able to click the attach and send button :)
I thought I had mountains of books and I keep downloading all these libraries but you're the only one who always has those books that I was trying hard to download :)
Lol that's cool. The ones I can't find and I can't live without I have to buy, but I have to keep that cost down. Responsibilities of being an adult, sigh.
Is anyone interested in a buddy read with Christopher Rice's The Heavens Rise? The paperback is out next week so I'm going to start it by that Friday, hopefully.

Hi Daniel,Sorry I missed your message asking about Lies. I'm a bit overbooked at the moment, but I still want to read it. I read slower than I wish I did! It looks like you might start The Heavens Rise, which is shorter and I also have. I'll join that one this month how about august for lies?
I hope that works :)
Katie

No worries, Katie. I don't have The Heavens Rise, but I'm happy to wait until August for Lies if that works for you two. I've got plenty to read in the meantime. :)
Ok well I'll do both, heavens rise and lies in august. I might be able to send you a digital copy Daniel if you want to read heavens rise. I started reading it a bit ago and although it is emotionally hard to read it's beautifully written. Those balance out :)
Oh wait that might have been confusing I mean I'll read heavens rise this month and lies in august. Sheesh who is proofreading for me so I don't sound like a babbling idiot? (I'm not doing it... Someone has to do it!!)
Hey Katie, how does that work for a digital copy? I've been hearing something about lending on Kindle - is that what you're referring to? Sorry, I'm new to the ebook world. :)
Daniel wrote: "Cool Maxine! When would you like to start?"I just saw your reply! I can probably start around Wednesday next week.
Maxine wrote: "Daniel wrote: "Cool Maxine! When would you like to start?"I just saw your reply! I can probably start around Wednesday next week."
Hey Maxine! Would you be okay with starting Aug 1st, that way Katie can join us?
If next week works better I could start then, I have a deadline on a couple of books I'm reading now, but next week works to start lies. :)

Of course! August 1st is fine with me, or whenever you guys decide.
Addy wrote: "I'll keep you in mind for Wormwood K4tie. I'd love to join in on Lies, but don't have it. It sounds good!"Hey Addy, let me know if you are going to read Wormwood, I've got it on my shelf and would like to read it soon!
We can start today if u want. I've read the first story already:) Let me know and I'll make a thread.
Daniel wrote: "How about we start Lies on Friday the 25th? Sound good to everyone?"I'm good anytime :)
Valancourt Books wrote: "Awesome! Ya, it looks really good so I can't wait to get it."Hi Valancourt, have you started The Heavens Rise yet? I have a couple of books I'd like to finish first, but let me know if you want to start. :)
Hi guys, you doing Wormwood by Brian Keene? If yes, can I join? Haven't read him yet and I'd love to :)

Hey Kristin, I haven't started it yet. I'd be more than happy to wait until you can get to it so I can read it with someone else! Just let me know. :)

Great! Will do. :)
Natasa wrote: "Hi guys, you doing Wormwood by Brian Keene? If yes, can I join? Haven't read him yet and I'd love to :)"Uh oh, I thought it was Wormwood by Poppy Z. Brite, lol. If its Keene's I'll have to bow out, but I'm not sure. I"ll double check with Addy.
Just went back and looked, yes, we are talking about the Poppy Z. Brite book. Wormwood: A Collection of Short Stories
Thx for checking Maxine :) never mind, some other time. I do have Poppy Z.Brits in my horror challenge but it's another book. Have fun!
Its Wormwood by Poppy. Sorry Natasa. I'll have to check out the Brian Keene one. I don't think I've heard of that one.
I'm sorry Addy, Maxine I totally missed the title lol it is Earthworm Gods or something like that. It's obvious I'm in need to read this author to get to know his work a little better :)
