Janel The ending just complicates things. Could someone tell me which are set-up and which are not?

allycatblue *percy jackson is my husband Most. Of it was a set up
Kate being born was a set up. The school, the town, the kids, most of the tests

Kimberly I think most of it was a set up.

"Spoilers"

if I was in Kate's place I would have been so mad at my mom. Because what kind of mother would have a kid with the intetions of tricking her to one day going to a house and doing tests that no one else survived and on top of that, making yourself sick for four years and making your daughter go though the pain of whatching her own mother die. and not feeling sorry for it.

Janel How about Henry? Did he really like her? Did he let her do "it" because it's a setup?

Kimberly I think he knew it was a set up, but I think he started to fall in love with her somewhere along the way. I'm not completly sure if he really loves her or if he just started to like the only girl available.

Juliya It explains Kate's and Henry's love situation a little better in the second book but it leaves a VERY big cliff hanger. I cant wait until the third!

Kimberly I haven't read the second book yet, even though I really want to. Is it better then the first book???

Hi, Juliya! I haven't read the 2nd book yet. Will it be worth reading? I mean, the first book is nice and all but it made me upset about the "set-up" thing which confused me a lot. Also, I have somewhat forgot the characters and I had a hard time reading the novella so I paused.

They did "it" right? It's a test of lust, if I'm not mistaken. It's a shame to do that because of a stupid test without feelings involved. I'm so emotional, help me understand. :|

Juliya The "set up" was just the test, and they were based on the 7 deadly sins. Some of them where planed while others just happen. Like the thing with Ave and Theo and Xander ( i think those are the names)that wasn't planned because the gods cant control everything. So hopefully that cleared things up for you about the tests. But as for Henry and Kate sleeping together, yes that happen but that's because of Calliop. shes the one that killed all the other girls and tried to kill Kate because Calliop wants Henry to herself. And the second book has to do with Calliops jealousy and the titans. You asked if it was worth reading, yes i think it is, in my opinion it was better than the first (but i really liked the first one also). I don't want to spoil anything for you, so I'll stop there, and if you get lost with the characters, in the back of the book there's a which god is which page so you should see that (it helped me alot while i was reading it) OR you can always write all the names and characteristics on a piece of paper and look on the sheet when you get confused. i hope that helped lol
