Series and adjunct series set-up, please?

Randall Farmer's current set of books in the database here seem to all be from the same universe, set into two separate but related and intertwined series. The first series is called "The Commander" and the books are as follows:
Once We Were Human Book 1
Now We Are Monsters Book 2
All Beasts Together Book 3

The companion series is called The Good Doctor's Tales (and it might be beneficial to contact the author and see where these fit within the main series so that the books are read in the appropriate order). These books are:
The Good Doctor's Tales Folio One book 1
All Conscience Fled Book 2
The Good Doctor's Tales Folio Three book 3
The Good Doctor's Tales Folio Four Book 4
The Good Doctor's Tales Folio Five Book 5. Again, additional books are scheduled for release this fall and details can be found at the link given above.

I hope this is adequate information, and again I'd recommend contacting the author to see if the companion books should be shuffled within the main books (i.e. 1.5, 3.5 and so forth), but would definitely set this up as two separate series, with the companion books also included in the main series' page to people are aware of the fact they are connected... I hope that makes sense!
