AA: Question Around Chapter 19

I dont think it would have done anything. Galen didnt force Fitz to use the Wit and thats the part that Burrich finds disgusting.

There has to be a story there! Why does it upset him so much? I just learned about Galen's treachery, though I had figured that it had something to do with with Galen's own failings rath then Fitz.

I don't really know what you mean. Burrich didn't care about Fitz failing with the skill but his use of the wit.

It's been a bit since I read it and I haven't reread it for this month, but wasn't Burrich ticked because he felt like Fitz was focusing more on the Wit and sort of choosing it over the Skill and not trying, when Burrich hoped he'd get involved with Skill and leave Wit behind? So that would be why he'd be upset about a failure with Skill.

what happened is that (view spoiler)[Fitz was dropped off near Forge and during that time he had a Wit dream of Smithy and Burrich getting attacked. Fitz decided that Burrich and Smithy were more important and went to find them but as Galen hadn't left him a horse he couldnt return as fast as the others and it more or less hints the Galen wouldn't have bothered to skill Fitz as he hates Fitz and wants him to fail (he did skill imprint on him to kill himself as well as skill imprint his thoughts of him as a failure in the skill) but I don't think that Burrich thought he choose wit over skill. I think Burrich was more upset that he continued to bond to animals after Burrich did his best to stop him from doing that before (hide spoiler)]

Basically what Kp said. I don't think it was a thing of "You chose A over B." but mostly "I told you to never do A and you still did, so I want nothing to do with you anymore." I'm not sure if the Skill had any significance here.
