Second idea:
Uhmm, he's done his research and there is a small vampire hunters cult she is in, he knows of it and is the new mentor for her and others in disguise. Drinking angel blood has made him immunse to sunlight and some other things vampires are affected by. He knows there is an angel blood, vampire hunter and he is looking for her.

In the tunnels running underneath the midnight city, Valentine smoothed on black knuckle gloves and pocketed the stake into his leather jacket. He arrived at the a heavy door, illuminated with torches on either side. He knocked on it and was let into a wide cathedral, with no pews. Training equipment, dummies, weapons and torches hang ont he walls and along the floor. Up on the stage were two humans clad in black gear and armed. They looked relaxed.

"V! You made it. We're just waiting for the students to come," the first oen spoke, with an open smile, walking up to Val. Valentine smiled. "I almost forgot the way, with so many tiwsts and turns. It must have taken you ages to find this."

"Nah," Haden, the first trainer said, shrugging his shoulders. "And don't look so nervous. Loosen up! Those kids aren't that bad." The other mentor approached smiled briefly at Val. "Our training today is going to be...interesting. We have a new method."

Val's eyebrows shot up. "That is?"

But the door opened, cutting them off.

Jade strode in withe a few other new recruits. She was excited. She had always wanted to be a vampire huntress ever since her parents were biten and left to rott in front of her very eyes. The vampire that killed her parents would've come for Jade herself if he hadnt been so full. She had been watching the news, read the papers and had always found people here and there who had been killed buy vampires but the media had no idea they existed. Jade knew all too well. She was here to learn how to kill them.

Valentine scanned the mini crowd. There were only about 3 recruits who came in. His nose tingled as he sniffed discreetly.

"Huh, the older students must be late. Jeez. They've been here so long...yet.." Haden sighed, rolling his eyes. Haden was young, aroudn 20. "Hey guys," he said, walking up to them and shaking their hands. "I'm Master Haden." He winked. "That's Master Krystoff the grudge, and this is Master V. He's new like you, first night here but he's like a celebrity in the vampire hunting world, so don't go thinking he's a softie."

Val laughed, smiling at the students. "I'm really not.."

"He's just being modest, people," Haden replied.

Val shook his head. "So what are your names?"

Krystoff, the older one, directed his piercing gaze on the new recruits. He didn't bother being nice to them. "You're here tonight to learn how to kill. Not just for the heck of killing, no. To kill vampires, the evil vermin of this world. This is your first night, and there will be many more...if you survive the first, that is. You are a hunter, it's in your blood, we didn't just choose you randomly. Now we hope you don't waste our time and show some potential. Now bring out the vampires."

Valentine's eyes widened but he looked to Krystoff in curiosity.

Haden grinned, disappearing in a room before coming back out with two vampires who were deathly still. He chained them to a wall. "Gather round, ye! And I shall show you the art of stabbing!"
