Yep. I totally forgot when it came out and was flipping out when I got it this morning.
I got it and read it!!!!!!!!!! Are you guys also really frustrated with how you don't get to find out what happens to Iggy, Nudge, and Gazzy??!!
OMG I just finnished!!! I actually lived TE ending it was so good with Fang and Max. That's the Fang we all know and love. It was sort of depressing bc all the humans died but at least the flock is good.

This next rant may or may not (it probably will) contain spoilers, so... g'luck everybody. :)
So I bought Nevermore yesterday, and finished it yesterday. Since then I've had some real time to think about it, and all in all I think I'm moderately satisfied. There were a few things that pissed me off about the ending, such as...
• WHAT HAPPENED TO THE REST OF THE ISLAND PEOPLE?I mean for crying out loud Patterson, this includes some main characters we love, Iggy, Gazzy, Nudge, TOTAL!!! And what about Ella and Dr. M? Angel hinted they were still alive when she said she was tapping into Dr. Martinez's thoughts, but the whole thing was just so... Weird. He definitely could have explained that better. Much, much better...
• So after the giant, sky slicing explosion thingy... What, Dylan's just suddenly not in love with Max anymore? I mean that actually made me happy, I've always shipped Fax but it was just a little too... Sudden. I know what JP was TRYING to do with all the shifts and sudden realizations of the characters and everything but... He didn't exactly write it very well. Shaking my head.
• Last thing that REALLY bothered me... was Angel. I mean, WHAT? SHE WAS THE VOICE? That's just, that's just... To me it sounds like JP dug himself into a hole with the whole "voice" thing, and just pinned it on Angel in the end. And what was up with Jeb in book 3 or something... Couldn't he do it too? I don't know, the whole thing just really confuzzled me. (Oh, and speaking of Jeb, what happened to him and Ari?!?!)
So, for me there were a lot of loose ends that I still wanted tied up. I would go on with all the things I liked (because it must seem like I'm really hating on Maximum Ride right now, this was actually a better book in the series and was worlds and away a better book than Angel) but I don't want this to sound like a book review. Now I'll just share with you my favorite part of the book and I'll leave you alone:
FANG AND MAX FANG AND MAX FANG AND MAX FANG AND MAX AND OH MY GAWSH!!!! <3 <3 <3
That is all.

ya Dylan killed him at like the middle of the book. or at least it implies. if this wasnt the end of series i would assume he come back to life

Exactly... Everything was rushed and like you said, lots of loose ends tha should've been tied up. And Max never ended up saving the world, which sucked. I mean, that's what the whole series was building up to!
