I know! It confused me so much at first and I almost stopped reading it, but I'm so glad I kept reading.

Fever Crumb by Philip Reeve was my favorite book this summer, followed by its sequel, Web of Air. He is one of my favorite authors, so its unsurprising that I'd love these two as well.
