Julianne Maclean has a new self-pubbed book out called Married by Midnight. Has anyone read it yet?
I'm reading the last of Karin Slaughter's Will Trent Books I haven't read. (Started in the middle, and then went back to read the first two.) I won't know what to do with myself when I'm finished. :/
Susan, I haven't read the new MacLean but I was excited to hear she was finishing up that series.
Thanks for the read, Phoenix:)

I'm about half way through How to Romance a Rake (Manda, who picked that title? Its the only thing I don't like so far--Deveril is not a rake and Juliet isn't romancing him!)
I started When You Wish Upon a Duke by Isabella Bradford, aka Susan Holloway Scott, aka Miranda Jarrett today. So far, I'm enjoying it. I like the humor and the stuffy hero who clearly is on his way to being unstuffed.
I also skim reread Sarah Mayberry's Within Reach before I reviewed it. It is an extraordinary book, one I recommend highly.

Susan, I read Married by Midnight over the weekend and thought it was a very good end to the series. It might even be my favorite of the Pembroke stories. It's a novella, but long enough that the characters are well-developed and lots of loose ends are tied up. JM has mentioned she might write one more in the series to give the sister (Charlotte) a story.

Thanks for the input. Now that I know this is a Novella, I can work it into my schedule this week.

Now, I'm 3/4 of the way through ALL SUMMER LONG by Susan Mallery. My first Susan Mallery book. I'm really liking it. I love the storyline - one I've thought would have been a good one to tell for a long time and Susan is doing a great job with it.
Irish, All Summer Long is my favorite of the Fool's Gold books and one of my favorites among all Mallery's books. It's one I'm really pleased to see on the bestseller lists.
Read Jodi Thomas'new book. I liked it although its not my favorite of hers. Her historical plotting doesn't appeal to me as much as her contemp. plotting.
But I love the way she keeps the themes of several relationships going. I wish there was a little more attention paid to the couple I think is the primary one in this book but I think she may have been a little stymied by the long term friendship and how to turn it into a romance. They deserved better. I loved the other couples.
Read the new Kleypas. It was...ok...but its not good when you like the ghost better than the hero.
