Wonder why, Jaze thought. She sighed and said, "Please stop calling me Shadowhunter. I have a name."
Resisting giving the warlock the stink eye, she said, "Jaze."
((Ladies, please refrain from spamming too much))Jones finally walked up to the door and looked at both of them. "Sorry about that, we'll talk about it later Jaze, how can I help you?"

((XD.))Jaze stepped aside to let the two talk. When the warlock was done talking, she'd tell Jones about the vampire attack.
Jones eyed Jaze, he could tell she wanted to say something but this warlock at the door was pressing his curiosity.
((We can't really do anything without Sydney.))

"You do? Your allegiance is with the clave then?" he made sure, looking her over.
"What is the information?" he inquired, satisfied with her answer.
"The warlocks? Do you have names?" he asked, getting bristled.
"What's your price?" he asked, wondering where she was going.
"Which one will it be?" he asked. He wanted to know the severity of it.
"Alright. Wait here." Jones walked back to the library, wondering which scroll to pass over to her. Finally picking a sufficient one, he returned and handed it over, but pulled it back a bit. "Names first."
Jaze stayed just out of earshot to, giving the warlock and Jones space. She slipped her knife out of her jacket's sleeve and stared at it again, going over what'd happened. Who's worse? Nik or vampires? Honestly, I'm thinking the vamps.
"No problem." Jones sighed, taking in the names. "Anything else or is that fine?" he made sure, seeing Megan still there.
Still patiently waiting, Jaze rubbed the knife against jeans, trying to get some of the vampire blood off. She knew it would stain her jeans, but she never really cared about those things.
Jones nodded bitterly. "Yes, one of our own. Ryder. Thank you for that Megan. You know where to come if you have more." He nodded.
Hearing the warlock leave, Jaze slipped the knife back into her jacket. She looked at Jones and frowned slightly. He didn't look very pleased. I'll just assume there was no good news.
Jones looked over at Jaze and looked at her bloodied jeans. "Don't wipe blood onto them." he scolded lightly but it was obvious his mind was on other things.
Jaze opened her mouth to say something, but then thought better of it and nodded. She wanted to tell him about the vampire attack, but hesitated. Jones already had a lot on his place with Nik and all..
"Anyway, I was about to tell you something...oh yes, about Susan Stormway." he began, walking back down the corridor of the Institute.

"She actually got it into the Institute. Asked me something strange." he said, headed toward the library in a rush.
Jaze's face showed surprise and a small amount of shock, but it was gone after a second. "Define strange," she responded, speeding up her pace to keep up with him.
"She asked me to pass a message to Idris - she and her family were going and I needed to warn the Clave that if they harrassed the Stormways, they wouldn't hesitate to retaliate." Jones explained seriously.
Jaze's face kept that small frown on her face. She managed to look serious and concerned at the same time. "That," she said, her voice not having much emotion in it, "does not sound good."
"Exactly. I wonder what they want to do in Idris...are they going to meet someone?" he asked, pausing in front of the library and turning to Jaze.
"It's a possibility," Jaze answered. She stopped walking and went over what Jones said once more in her head. "But we can't be sure. When it comes to Stormaways, we can't be positive."
"That's the problem. I'm wondering whether...would it be wise to send someone after them? What do you think?" he asked, the thought coming to mind.
It took less than a minute for Jaze to respond. "I think that if we send someone to follow them, and they're caught, it'll make the situation worse," she answered.
"I suppose you're right. I still don't like this though." he murmured, displeased as he folded his arms.
"I don't think anyone would like this," Jaze mumbled under her breath. She sighed and adjusted her glasses. "What exactly should we do, then?"
"I have to do what I promised her I would. I just wonder whether the Clave would listen to me or not." he said finally, writing out the message, wondering how to phrase it. If the Clave knew he was helping the Stormways, they could fall under inspection.
Susan stood outside of the institute, debating whether or not she should go in or just circle back and go home. After a few moments, she headed inside with an irritated grumble. She might as well at least let them know there was a werewolf going around that was using mundanes as chew toys.

"You could tell the Clave that the Stormaways are coming and that they should warn Shadowhunters not to attack or disturb them, that way no one gets hurt?" she suggested.
Susan's eyes narrowed slightly at the sound of her name drifting down the hall. She followed the voice until she saw the two of them. Remaining in the shadows as she had done before, she merely stated, "That is the smartest thing I have ever heard a Shadowhunter say."
Jaze whirled around, knife out. Her expression was carefully blank and her eyes narrowed. She couldn't see who'd spoken, but knew the person was there. "You mustn't have been around many Shadowhunters then," she said, voice even.
