See....I went into the movie not realizing it was multi part and about had a fit when it ended....*cough* I guess that's what I get for not finding the time to check things out before hand.

However, I thought they did a really good job with the first part :)

Ohh, okay. So that is how they are 'stretching' it. I finally got around to reading the Hobbit about a year ago and then re-read it before I saw the movie. I still need to hunt down the LOTR books and finish them all at once.

Oh, it was and in the theatre there was no information saying there were multiple parts. I went home and looked it up though and was much happier:)

Well, my boyfriend went with me and was like "I think it is two parts and we just missed the memo. See, no one else is flipping out." And yes, no one else in the theatre was flipping out but there were like ten people there total.
