If you and your favorite author got stuck in an elevator what would you do or talk about?

Okay, this has been swirling around in my head for a while. We played this game in the Stephen King Fans group, and I thought it would be good for Vamps-R-Us. So, let's say you were stuck in an Elevator with an author (of vampire fiction! Pick one). What would you want to ask them, and what would you like to talk about with them?Go!!

If I were stuck in an elevator with my favorite vampire fiction author, I have a pretty good idea what we would talk about. We'd talk about our favorite television shows and movies, we'd talk about what it would be like to be immortal. I'd ask her when she was planning on writing some more books about MY favorite characters in her novels. We'd probably suggest some books to one another and I would likely question her about some interesting philosophical questions her books brought to mind for me, which she would be very interested in, because she actually cares about what her fans think. Then we'd probably end up getting into a big disagreement about religion until someone ended up rescuing us. I'm pretty positive this is exactly what would happen, because she is already on facebook and these are the things we usually end up talking and disagreeing about. Oh Anne Rice, you crazy brilliant lady, I'll always be a fan, even when we disagree.

LOL....I was going to say Rice too. You actually talk to her on facebook though?

Yes, a little here and there. Usually she'll post something and I'll comment on it, but I've posted a couple things to her page and she's responded. Mostly stuff about TV shows or books. She's very kind to her fans and seems to really appreciate their input.

Yes, I believe I contacted Ms. Rice a couple years back on facebook and she did respond. I don't remember what I said though. I no longer go on facebook, so. But that is still pretty cool. I think all authors should appreciate thier fans.

LOL. That's a good one. I'm of the belief that it's because she's now happily married with a healthy sex life and just became complacent. Her books were better when she was getting divorced. Anywhoo, I'd like to be stuck in an elevator with Kelley Armstrong and talk to her about her Women of the Otherworld series. It's fantastic and I'd love to know what her inspiration is and why she ended the series. I'm devastated.

you know what i would have to say thank you for the pleasure of reading such beutiful stories.....and then it would probably end with a ......how could you type question! Most times my favourite authors do soemthing really silly i cant wrap my head around within their books!

Some authors I would like to beat the shit out of for the way they ended their series', like ANDREA CREMER!!! Her last book in Nightshade was a complete and utter letdown!
