It's actually only a bench. :-) The tables we have in the greenhouse and on the patio underneath the pergola. Here's a photo of the greenhouse and the table there — also a nice place to read. :-)

That looks perfect for those days which are too windy or chilly for being in the open air.

Heh, you guys are sweethearts, but you also seem to know me too well. :-) The greenhouse has lights inside (attached to the roof ridge) and a heating lamp (I don't know what they call it in English) hanging from the ceiling. Oh, and we have a genuinely old oil lamp in there too. So yes, it's very cosy even at spring and autumn.

Feel free to stop by anytime. :-) I have blankets and gramophone ready (I have a big pile of old gramophone records too). For some reason we usually carry our gramophone to the greenhouse at some point during the summer, play the records and dance a little (yes, Antonella, you heard right!).

We always wonder if one or two of our neighbors will join us when they hear the music, but no one has joined us dancing yet. :-) I bet they think it's too quirky. ;-)

I have to correct myself a bit, because hubby reminded me yesterday that the first time we danced in greenhouse to gramophone records, almost all our neighbors showed up because they were curious to see from where the nostalgic sounding music came. Nobody stayed to dance, though.

I'm sorry to tell you that the 94 year-old boyfriend Eino passed away last winter just before our lovely neighbor had her 90th birthday. So, that's been really sad and she has a hard time getting over it. They had been dating for 26 years and not a day had gone buy when they hadn't called twice a day to each other. They also traveled together a lot and visited each other often.

Our neighbor (Delilah is her name, but everyone calls her Tellu) just stopped by the fence this morning when she saw hubby using the lift machine and we were pondering over some laths and painting, and she hollered "It looks like you have a need for a boss there!" Offering herself for the job, obviously. :-D

Sounds lovely! How about dancing in the snow? I love snow angels. When the snow is so soft and deep you can just fall back into it...poof! and disappear. I miss a nice snowy winter. Though I can at least send cold, wintery thoughts to all of you baking in the northern heat. Stay cool, everybody. :)

Very important the centerpiece: a Jefferson Blythe notebook. Even the back is in the JBE-design. Johanna is just that awesome with (cover-)design.

I just posted the Jefferson notebook photo on Five Things I Love thread, but I'll post it also here if someone is interested in seeing the back cover.

Well, I couldn't be happier that so many of you guys seem to like the cover. :-) Thank you for your kind words, Karen and everyone. Josh is such a brilliant writer that it's not exactly a piece of cake to make a cover for him. I mean... what if I manage to ruin things with an ugly cover? When one thinks that the story in question is pretty much perfect (like I did think about Murder in Pastel) that tends to put a bit pressure on the cover making process... :-D
