Photos — Josh's books in the reality of readers
Can you imagine? That would be such a riot. A Fanyon cruise! :-D
(And me probably seasick the whole time, knowing me!) :-D
(And me probably seasick the whole time, knowing me!) :-D

I think we all should take an Alaskan Fanyon cruise together. :-)"
Is Alaska ready for us? Maybe Iceland?"
I thought we had a Fanyon-meeting in New Zealand first? Maybe an Alaskan Fanyon cruise via Iceland to New Zealand? ;-)) "
That's right. You all should definitely come to New Zealand! I missed my moving-in help the other day...where were you guys? ;) I even found the martini glasses without too much trouble. :)

STHH looks great as an ebook!

Like English tea?? I love it!

What a great picture, Calathea! I love all those post-its with page numbers on them. And good to know the bookmarks were handy! :-)

I love the well used one of Calathea's. Perhaps she is hoping it will 'become real'?!
I recently come home from vacation myself, so I am just getting to these. I am so enjoying everyone's pictures and stories.
I love couch traveling.
Hugs to you all. Thanks for sharing!

Oh thank you! A splash of milk, but no sugar, please.
Lovely pictures :)

STHH looks great as an ebook!"
That looks like proper afternoon tea. I'm sure Lisa would approve!

Wow. Working out the pathways and making them happen digitally must have been so difficult. Congratulations, Calathea!

For us it would have been more like half an hour... with some lively groups of younger children in the burning sun. I was glad to see in Jordan's photos that Greenwich is back to green. Last year around that time it was burned to dust by the sun, barely any green left. It was so hot that I used my umbrella there was no shade to walk in.

Nice :)

Such a lovely picture and good job posting it, Antonella!

Ehmm... I had already admitted defeat in an ETA note because the chosen solution didn't seem to work when I noticed that one of the links in photobucket under ''Links to share this photo'' is called ''Direct''...
Prepare yourself to be swamped by my pictures ;-).

That's a lovely photo, Antonella! I think the boat trip on the Thames is great, too. I want to take one to Hampton Court Palace one day.

Thank you for the nice photo Antonella and for the link :)

Nice, Antonella! And thank you for posting the photo instructions! I know people have posted instructions before, and I've never been able to find them again--so I will study these and we'll see what happens, for I do have some photos to post. :)

You are welcome, although as I said, in the end if you are on photobucket, you don't need instructions, which is even better ;-).

I will figure out how to post photos. I will! Though at the moment I can't find the photos I was looking for, drat it all.

Wow, Alison, this is amazing. Thanks for posting it. I got this urge now to pack my Kindle and go to Utah.
I love that I can travel so much by proxy in this group :)

Great picture and great place! Thank you!

Wow, what a beautiful place, but I have to say it, I was for a second in deep concern, that Adrien could do a deep fall.

Great photo! I can only imagine how lovely New Zealand must be if you're prepared to forgo places like this.

Oh wow, Alison! I didn't know you have scenery like this in Utah! I've only visited Salt Lake City and it didn't look like this. :-) But when I googled Zion National Park I realized it's not far from Grand Canyon. A wonderful photo — thank you for sharing!

LOL. Yeah, you never know about Adrien... ;-)

Wouldn't it be fun to have all the photos in this thread made into a book one day? It would make a lovely coffee table book, wouldn't it! :-)
It could be one of those photo album books you can create on internet and we'd send one of them to Josh, of course. Hmmm... maybe next Christmas? ;-)
(Although I don't know if that's something we can do due to the copyrights of the photos. But, the idea is tempting.)

One of your usual good ideas!
I doubt that anybody of us would give a damn about copyrights.
Or did you mean a copyright of the places? I've just recently discovered there is such a thing for some places. At first I couldn't believe it!

No, I only meant copyrights to the photos (the persons who have taken the photos). Yeah, I agree with you. I don't think anyone would object to the idea if we'd make a book out of them for Josh — but I've become very careful about these things since I have to take them into account everyday in my work. (ETA: Maybe too cautious, even?) :-)

It sounds like a very neat idea, but would involve a lot of work for those who did it. Most people here wouldn't care about copyrights I would think, since the photos were posted here for the enjoyment of the group anyway. Now, if you were to sell the book on the market, that would probably be a different cup of tea. :)

Paris, apparently.
I can't wait to see that go through the courts.

This is totally doable graphically. I'd be happy to help (adjusting exposure and/or sizing photos, etc.) Here's a link to the iPhoto/Apple options: http://www.apple.com/mac/print-products/
Message me if you want to discuss specifics. : )

Iceland has that too I learned recently when we wanted to use a photo of the Reykjavik opera for a project at work. I didn't know that!

I'll just keep my trap shut, shall I?
