Keys to the Demon Prison
question
Too fast of an ending? Too easy?

This happens with a lot of books, movies, TV series, etc. unfortunately. I wish the fight at the end was longer, as it ended in a flash. I also would have liked it if Seth vanquished the Demon King instead of Kendra. It seems to me that Kendra does all the most important acts of heroism in the series. I did love the series though.

Yes! They kept going ton in the book about how big and powerful all the demons together were, but in the end , I thought that they were really wimpy.
Yes and no. Kendra was Fairykind, Vasilis was the sword of light and dark, she did SHINE very brightly and was spurred on by so much loss in the past two years which gave her the strength to take on this powerful demon. However, I have to agree that the Demon King didn't seem and Powerful and Almighty as he was made out to be or the other most "powerful" demons as well. I mean the losses on the good guys sider only being about 50ish, as a rough estimate. I mean these were supposed to be the baddest demons imprisoned! And when it takes over 3 hours for the demons to enter the new "prison", yeah, they seem kind of wimpy. Maybe all those millenia of being locked up made them sluggish. But I also believe that good always wins over evil eventually.
I also see, perhaps in a few years, a spinoff book.
I still loved the series and this book!!!

Oh yeas I do! I feel the same way! And Kendra takes Seth's thunder! It would be great if they beat the king demon together! like in Secret of the Dragon Sanctuary, Where Kendra AND Seth beat the poison dragon together!, Holding the healing horn thing! and also when they hold hands they can talk, fight and or run away! Clear brain + mobility = okay dokey!

I actually loved the end. Each one played their part. I like that the book made the children heroes, not super heroes. And I also liked that the author left some things to our imaginations.
Honestly? i thought the quick ending did it justice. This is a great series and i was sad to see it end, but would any of you actually like a drawn out battle?
okay i take thaat back, would any of you ladies like to see a drawn out battle? However i do agree that these demons were not as strong as the were supposed to be. i expected demons that would take 5 or 10 good guys with it, not demons that would die so quickly or be outsmarted so quickly. that is one thinig i have awlays aid about brandon mull's books, that he knows when to cut a character loose, at least until this part.

I know! it should have taken the WHOLE series for her/them to defeat the Demon Prince and his "people".
