Bridgette Was this book better than The Hunger Games? Anything that you think should or shouldn't be in the book?

Nicki I thought this book was just as good as the first. I'd say better, except the first one was what started it all. Catching Fire was my favorite :)

Maryam Catching Fire was the best in the trilogy I think....

█║ ✕ Angel ‟ I thought Catching Fire was the best, more action, more suspicion, And Finnick showed up! *swoon*

Luce i loved the first one but i have to say this is my favourite. its the second book so we dont need everything explained like we do in the first book, and we are already attatched to the characters so it makes the book even better ;D xxx
plus katniss and peeta are like in pre-smitten so they are cuter and the book has more humour :D

Tina J Personally, I thought the 2nd book was the worst out of the trilogy!!!
Not many people like Mockingjay, but I much preferred it to Catching Fire.

Merry The entire trilogy is great. Catching Fire is my favorite because I'm familiar with the characters and everything, so I was not as confused as I was in the beginning of the first book. I also think Mockingjay is amazing, but it's the last book, I don't like reading it, it makes me sad.

Definitely not according to me. In my opinion it didn't live up the the first book, neither did Mockinjay, but Mockingjay was at least very close. I don't think Catching Fire was very catchy... But it was exciting to meet all the new characters though, and get more involved in the other districts... damn I'm starting to change my mind while writing! I might need to reread it... it was a long time ago.

1st one was the best. SO AMAZING! Honestly the last 2 books had a weak plot. The ideas were great but after thinking about it the execution was poor. Now I love the Hunger Games, went to the premiere and cried 3times during the movie. There is doubt that this series was great. I just don't think it was as great as it could have been.

Ana I didn't really like it. I prefer the first one.

This was my least favorite in the series. The last one was okay, but the first one was definitely the best.

David I am choosing book 2 (Catching Fire)
It does not take long to jump into action and all my favorite characters are in this book.

SassyPsycho Catching Fire is my number one in this case but i will not see the movie if JB plays Finnick!!!!

Cameron Goodman I think Catching Fire was the best out of the whole series. Mockingjay was sad and depressing and I guess the end of the book was okay but still sort of depressing. And come on without the oringinal Hunger Games there would be no Catching Fire or Mockingjay...So I think Catching Fire is the best then Hunger Games and then Mockingjay...

I agree... what a joke that would of been.

SassyPsycho Tell me about I am so glad JB is not playing Finnick!!!!!1

Joe Gibson It was great but not as good as the first, but better than the last for sure!

Amber Hunger games was my favorite.

Elizabeth Day I think maybe slightly better than the first.

Mimi ❤ The Hunger Games was written better, I felt that the plot twists in this book were juvenile :/ I think Collins started slacking off, but that's just my opinion.

Emily I always go back and forth between the first and second. I thought they were equally amazing. Mockingjay was good too but just didn't quite live up to the rest of the series.

Eliana I think that catching fire was definitely the best of the trilogy
