There is a Goodreads page which lists popular shelf-names used by GR members. The shelves are also known as "TOP SHELVES" or "GENRES". See the page at: http://www.goodreads.com/shelf
To navigate to the above page, do the following: 1. Go to the "EXPLORE" tab. 2. In the drop down menu there, click on "POPULAR". 3. Then click on "POPULAR SHELVES" (at the right). The name at the top of the page is "TOP SHELVES".
Sometimes I get ideas for naming my own shelves from lists like that.
Also, I sometimes find shelf-name ideas at the particular book page. For example, if you click on: Lifeblood, scroll down and you will see a column called "GENRES" on the right. Then, if you click on "see top shelves", you will see more top shelves for that book at: http://www.goodreads.com/work/shelves...
Just another navigating hint for myself and for anyone interested. :)
