Type in the name of an author you like and it will pull up other authors that you might like also. They closer the other authors' names are to your author, the more alike they are. It's a lot of fun!
Barnes and Nobles used to be mine as well, but ever since Goodreads added the book previews, I really have no need to go there....

Thanks Heather! I can't believe I never looked there. lol It does look like a great site...thanks!

Thanks JG...this one looks really interesting!

I definitely spend more time on this site than any other. Thanks for setting up this great group!

Thanks Josie! I love this idea!
I haven't found any, or really interested in finding any sites like goodreads.. I'm getting increasingly more addicted to Goodreads and I'm afraid if I find another site like this my whole day would be devoted to constantly checking and updating my account(s). :0
But for shopping and such I usually always use Amazon, my mommy likes to buy my books from there. :)
& I usually search for new books and authors on Barnes and Nobles.

for major review lists of new books coming out I like the Washington Post on line.

The other book discussion site that I have been a VERY frequent member of for the past year is readinggroupguides.com

Bookreporter.com

Publishers Weekly Book Reviews

Not only are the listings very accurate and complete, the site's reviewers complile their titles, arranged by star ranking. It's extremely easy, at a time-pressed glance, to tell whether the taste of that particular reviewer is a match.

I swap books at BookMooch all the time, though. :)
