talltyrion | 708 comments *high five back* That's a relief. But even with TMI, I keep searching for any mention of TID there is. Which is a lot of parts that frustrate me greatly. Sigh.

Anna Wood-Gaines (annabanana13) | 1674 comments Exactly!! It was crazy how quickly they mentioned one! On like page 5 or something they mentioned Isabelle's necklace (view spoiler) and it made me so so happy :)

message 53: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Oh, yes... And I think my heart stopped when they mentioned Tessa's clockwork angel. !!

And the mark it left on Will!! Ohmygosh when I read that part I just started freaking out :D

message 55: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Oh, me too!! Bliss, bliss, bliss.

message 56: by Anna (new)

Anna Wood-Gaines (annabanana13) | 1674 comments Exactly!! I just had tears of joy and happiness :)

message 57: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Minus the tears, but emotion rising like a tide.

YES! Thank goodness for CP2 to bring consolation & resolution!

I second that!"

I third it! I just want to read it over and over and over...

Oh agreed!! I just wish I could live in that world forever! :)

message 61: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments That wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Count me IN.

message 62: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments The worst case of book-ending depression I ever had was when I finished Wildwood Dancing. It was truly amazing. That fateful night I stayed up to finish it was simply the best and most meaningful nights the world. When I finished it, though ~ I was empty

So empty

I woke up feeling empty

Went to school feeling empty

Walked the perimeter of the school feeling nothing at all

Went home in a daze

Stared at homework for three hours

Went to bed and cried

I felt the same after reading 'Harry Potter & the deathly hallows'.

It was over!

message 64: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Feel the emptiness!

message 65: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments God, I feel that way with every book. After the lying around incubation period comes the venting to your friends over email, telling them that it is over and you feel empty, and maybe feeling a little bit better when they react the way they have the first fifty times I've sprung this on them. In a world where something that fantastic is over, it's nice to know that some things never change.

message 66: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Yeah, put-on reactions always make me feel better.

message 67: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments And don't forget the sad music. There's no escaping my rein of depression through blasting sad music at every hour of the night if you live with me.

message 68: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments As long as it sounds good, I'll move in with you.

message 69: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Aw, thanks. :)

message 70: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments *packs stuff* How much room do you have?

message 71: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Not much. It's covered in books! Literally, my mind has programmed itself to step over all my books when I'm half asleep in the mornings.

message 72: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Ahh *drops three boxes* Covered in books is fine; it's the covered in floor thing I hate.

message 73: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments I can't stand bookshelves. Don't ask me why. I keep all of my beloved books in a pile beside my bed.

message 74: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Ok...? *steps back*

message 75: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Ah. Sorry. Bad luck.

message 76: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Oh, I'm still coming, it's just you surprised me a little *drops the box with a DIY bookshelf in it*

message 77: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Ha. Oh, yay. I know, I'm weird. I'm the only nerd who doesn't dote on bookshelves. Couldn't figure out the Dewey Decimal System to save my life, what's more. More's the pity...

message 78: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Dewey Decimal System....? O_o

message 79: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments What? Aw, anyway, I'm bad at it was my point.

message 80: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Ok. *dumps stuff on WordlesslyAmazed03's floor*

message 81: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Haha! :D I see you're also obsessed with Dictor Who.

message 82: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Correction: Doctor Who. And yes, I am obsessed. *puts several box sets on display*

message 83: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Sorry. Typo. Cool. Welcome, fellow geek. :)

message 85: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Niiiiiice!! I'm all for the blatant refusal to see a book's movie because you know they'll ruin it!!

message 86: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Yep. Nearly always.

message 87: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Which exceptions?

message 88: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments None so far. I'm still hoping.

Except for maybe Lord of the Rings. \

Oh, and goodnight. *falls on floor*

Which is the RP way of saying; It's midnight and I've really got to get some sleep, bye.

message 89: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Oh, it's midnight where you are? Sorry, it's ten in the morning here. Night!

message 90: by Leyah (new)

Leyah (serferrant) | 291 comments Night! *yawn*

message 91: by Lady Poppy (new)

Lady Poppy | 367 comments A Monster Calls kind of kicked my heart at the end. The worst part was that I knew why it was going to be sad right when it described his mom. I was like, "There is no way I'll cry, I already know what's going to happen and I'm only 20 pages in." Nope. I bawled for an hour or two.. not sure exactly, everything was blurred by tears. I kind of sat in my bed, rocking back and forth and trying to stifle my sobs (my parents were asleep in the next room). This was me:

message 92: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments See, that's how I feel about it. Is it worth reading to the end?

message 93: by Lady Poppy (new)

Lady Poppy | 367 comments I thought so, but your opinion might be different. The way Patrick Ness ties in the nightmare to the end is beautifully horrible and sad. Hard to explain, but I think you should read it.. after all, it's not an extremely long book in the long run.

message 94: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments But I have to say, his style of writing makes me want to punch something. Can't stand it.

message 95: by Lady Poppy (new)

Lady Poppy | 367 comments Whaaa? How so?

message 96: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments It irritates me. It feels like he's jumping from one sentence to the next and leaving huge gaps in between. Does that make any sense?

message 97: by Lady Poppy (new)

Lady Poppy | 367 comments It does, I guess I just didn't notice it while I was reading. It was late.. xp

Maybe you should give it another go and try not to analyze as much, but just read to read, you know? It normally works for me, though I can see how hating the writing could pose a problem :p

message 98: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments Ah, but I'm not the sort of person who can "just read".

message 99: by Lady Poppy (new)

Lady Poppy | 367 comments I understand you. Maybe just try again then.. it couldn't hurt, it's still only 200ish pages (with pictures). :)

message 100: by talltyrion (new)

talltyrion | 708 comments It could hurt a great deal. But I'll try it at some point. If there's one thing I know about myself, it's that I'll try it again one day.
