SOLVED. Paranormal Book about Werewolves and Ghosts [s]

I read this series around 6th or 7th grade (Im 20 now, so around 2000's). It has something like werewolves in it and for the longest time I was convinced the titles were something like Prey, Predator, Pack or something like that. If it is then I had no luck with simple google searches.

It also had a ghost in it, so yeah this book falls into the paranormal genre.

On to plot details. The main character and his friends where college students... (I think) I want to say his name was jack. He had a job, and there was a comment about him being muscular cause of having to lift heavy beer kegs. His friends where dating, and the guy was supposed to be funny.
I remember there was a car crash, and his friend dies. Jack and the girl grieve for him, and further down the road begin to develop a relationship. The thing is suddenly jack can see and talk with his dead friends ghost, who helps jack out with the werewolves. his friends a cool guy, bcause hes roots for their relationship all the way.
Strangely, I dont remember how the werewolves fit in to the story, except that their bad guys.

I wish I remembered more, but thats all I got.
