Diane U (djuseless) It's time to start nominations for September's Christian Fiction group read. I used the list of categories from the Theme thread and using Random.org, it selected:

Love Finds You In ...

We had this theme back in January 2012 and we read Love Finds You in Liberty, Indiana by Melanie Dobson so let's refrain from nominating it! Thanks!

Rules:
1. Nominations are open until the 14th of the month. I will let us know which book has "won" on the 15th.
2. Books must be Christian fiction, or "clean" fiction to be eligible for this read.
3. Books are chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
3. One nomination per person.

Nominations so far:

1. Love Finds You in Homestead, Iowa by Melanie Dobson - Barbara Ann
2. Love Finds You in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania by Annalisa Daughety - Diane
3. Love Finds You in Charm, Ohio by Annalisa Daughety - Brittany
4. Love Finds You in Amana, Iowa by Melanie Dobson - Lorie
5. Love Finds You in Carmel-By-The-Sea, California by Sandra D. Bricker - Barbara
6. Love Finds You in Wildrose, North Dakota by Tracey Bateman - Julie
7. Love Finds You in Victory Heights, Washington by Tricia Goyer - Rachel
8.

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Ooh, I like this series! I have three LFY books on my Kindle waiting to be read, just need to decide which one to nominate...they all look so good!

I don't typically nominate for this group read, but I've got a couple on my to-read list too. I'll nominate Love Finds You in Homestead, Iowa by Melanie Dobson.

Diane U (djuseless) There is one currently available for free for the kindle, it is Love Finds You in Amana, Iowa.

Huh, I've never heard of this series before, but from what I've looked over, it seems very promising - even those not based on the Amish. And, since I've recently read Lydia's Charm, I feel I have to nominate Love Finds You in Charm, Ohio by Annalisa Daughety

I loved Lydia's Charm! My only complaint is that there was lots of grief for just one book! I love Wanda Brunstetter!

I thought it was a really interesting book, too. It was the first one I've read by Wanda Brunstetter, even though I have a few more of her works shelved away somewhere. And I completely understand by what you mean by too much grief. For a while I just had to put it down and do something else. Hopefully not all her books are like that.

Diane U (djuseless) No they aren't all like that! When you are ready to read a series by her, try The Storekeeper's Daughter, The Quilter's Daughter and The Bishop's Daughter. It is one of my favorites! My next favorite series would be The Journey, The Healing and The Struggle.

Another stand alone book of hers is The Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club, it was a fun read! I just finished it this weekend! And one to add to your Christmas reads for this year, White Christmas Pie.

Love Finds You in Amana, Iowa by Melanie Dobson.

It's still free right now on Kindle.

Barbara (atimetolove) | 99 comments I'd like to nominate Love Finds You in Carmel-by-the-Sea by Sandra D. Bricker. The humor is wonderful.

message 12: by Julie (new)

Julie (julieanne1) | 13 comments Love Finds You in Wildrose North Dakota by Tracey Bateman. It makes you wonder what you would do in that situation.

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) I'm going to nominate Love Finds You in Victory Heights, Washington by Tricia Goyer, although there are plenty of other books here that I'd love to read!

message 14: by Diane U (new)

Diane U (djuseless) If you have any more nominations for September, please post them here before the end of tomorrow. Rachel will be selecting the book on Wednesday.
