Mitch Nottoli | 4 comments This is one of my all time favorite series. So many these days are based on the same things. All we ever hear about is vampire love stories, or the hunger games. Alexander Gordon Smith has created a new, and exciting twist that in a way still has a realistic theme. It's completely original and more people need to read them. Any one else read his short story "The Night Children"? It explains the story behind the books and we learn more about the warden. Can't wait for "Execution" to finally come out in November!

Gabriella Here here Mitch! I couldn't agree more! I read part of it on some website on his homepage, it was pretty good. OMG I NEED EXECUTION NOW!!!!!!!!!!
Some call me OVERLY OBSESSED, and I totally agree. I could go ON for hours about Donovan alone! mmm I love me some D... And then any time someone says, "What book should I read?" my answer is always "ESCAPE FROM FURNACE!" and thetyy refuse. I'm glad there are people out there as obsessed as me. Do you think it should be a movie? I don't. Movies ruin your imagination. AND NOBODY IS AS HAWT AS DONNOVAN IN REAL LIFE! Donnovan is gorgous in my mind :)

Mitch Nottoli | 4 comments Well I have no real thoughts on how attractive donnovan is haha but I totally understand your obsession with the books! The night children was AMAZING and I would totally recommend it if you love the series. I really love watching movies, so I am kinda interested in how different peoples imagination are on the same book. But then again, movies based on book cant go into such great details

Gabriella Haha I have it on my to read list but trust me that list goes on and on but it's at the top 10 or maybe 5. I love movies (who doesn't?!) but my main 3 reasons are as to why it shouldn't be a movie are 1. I don't want it to ruin my imagination 2) I'd probably pee my pants watching it ( I hate scary movies but LOOVE scary books but I also love the walking dead tv series which is beautifully creepy) 3. If you've ever read I am number four and saw the movie it did a CRAPPY job of following the book and I would L O S E it if they screwed up Lockdown!! But then again I just want to see the effects with technology theses day they'd probably do an awesome job with cool effects. But it'd probabaly be R or at the VERY least pg 13 if they clean up the gore but that's the fun part! But then I couldn't see it in theaters :( But yeah the books are awesome and a movie adaptation is questionable.

Mitch Nottoli | 4 comments I understand where your coming from, and yeah, I Am Number Four was an awful movie! Scary movies are definitely my favorite along with scary books, and the more gore the better! I like how you define the walking dead series as beautifully creepy. Never thought of it that way, but I do love the show.

Gabriella Haha can't wait for October for the Walking Dead to come back and November for EXECUTION! I can watch scary movies but I can't always sleep after them ha but scary books don't bother me I love them. Guess I'm just weird :P Anyway a book without gore is a book I don't want to read! The more the better! Have you heard about his new book, The Fury? It sounds cool but it's not out here in the U.S yet :(

Mitch Nottoli | 4 comments Yeah, I actually have heard about it! I was so pumped to read it cause I love escape from furnace so much, but then I saw it doesn't come out for awhile. So bummed...

DeepTiNkEr5 (goodreadscomCiel_Phantomhive) | 2 comments It was SO COOL! I loved it, I think it should be made a movie! :DD

Gabriella Glad to hear you liked it! Book-to-Movie has been getting a lot of popularity these past years and I think if this book gets well-known enough it could be a movie (fingers crossed) :)
