For the first time ever, we've picked a group read book that doesn't come out right away. BITING COLD will be released on Tuesday, Aug. 3. So in the meantime, tell me what you are most looking forward to in BITING COLD.

Are you ready to deal with Mallory?

Are you ready for Ethan to be back?

Are you hoping he's whole?

Did you just really miss our Chicago food-loving heroine Merit?

Jill Bradley (jillo725) | 30 comments After Drink Deep and the ending shocker, I was kind of reluctant to read this book. It seems to me that after a series loses a main character and then he miraculously returns the books go down hill from there. But since we're doing it as a group read, I'll go ahead and read it. I just hope it doesn't ruin the awesomeness that was the series up until that point.

I actually think the things going on with Mallory will be really interesting to see. It's always interesting when a character goes grey/black. Should be interesting to see if Merit can stop and save her at the same time.

I would start the series from the beginning. There's a lot that happens that get our characters to this book and it would be a shame for you to miss going through everything with them.

Marulett | 2 comments Can´t wait to start this book!!!! :D
I´m s glad it won the poll

Unfortunately, this one is one where much of the emotional elements (and there are a lot) will lack impact without having read the earlier books. Even if you're not reading this one, I really suggest trying the Chicagoland series. Start with Some Girls Bite.

Connie Garcia (goodreadscomconnieg) | 5 comments I was so glad to be able to read the first chapter. Yes I missed Ethan and I am so excited to see him come back I was shocked chloe brough him back and to think we made a big deal when he got killed off. She knew what she was doing all along. I counting the days till the book is realsed 6 more days!!

Sienny Zne | 13 comments i'll start at the beginning then. hope i can read it quickly enough to catch up :)

Noreen I wanted to start a new series and it was a toss up between Magic Bites and Some Girls Bite, but I went with Magic Bites so I will probably get through that series and then start this one at the beginning, so I'll try to avoid all discussions with spoilers in them.

Definitely good choice. *hugs Kate Daniels*

You will not be disappointed. The Kate Daniels series is one of my favorite!

Brianna | 13 comments I've read the first book in this series, but have been unmotivated to read the others. Hopefully, once this book comes out, I'll be motivated to just read right through them.

Karen Wapinski | 39 comments I never finished the first book and with three jobs I doubt I'll be able to catch up enough so I'm out for this one. But I hope everyone enjoys the read, see you all next month ^_^
