“There will be other lives.” Jem held his hand out, and for a moment, they clasped hands, as they had done during their parabatai ritual, reaching across twin rings of fire to interlace their fingers with each other. “The world is a wheel,” he said. “When we rise or fall, we do it together.”
Will tightened his grip on Jem’s hand, which felt thin as twigs in his. “Well, then,” he said, through a tight throat, “since you say there will be another life for me, let us both pray I do not make as colossal a mess of it as I have this one.”
This one made me really sad to read. It sounds like one of them is dying, but I don't know which one it is. Either way though I already wanted to cry.
Awwww, i will die, too. if one of them dies :(

If Will becomes a Silent Brother, I'll be so mad! I'd prefer Jem become one, especially if it means he'll live. I really want Will & Tessa to end up together, but I was just telling my sister today after reading all the snippets that Will will probably become a Silent brother, Jem will die, and Tessa will live forever without both of them if she really is a Warlock. It's my worst fear, but after reading the teasers, and other people's guesses, it does fit. However I'd be heart broken.
Yeah, i'd really hate for any of them to become a silent brother... I'm team Jem, for the record.

Gah! I don't want Will to become a Silent Brother! I want him to end up with Tessa... But I don't want Jem to die or get broken hearted either... It feels to me like TID might have a sad ending.:(
Cecily is 2 or 3 years younger than jem isn't she? I'm not saying that that's a problem, I'm just asking. I think Jem would look at Cecily as more of an adoptive little sister.

That's exactly what I was thinking! Cecily+Gabriel=Lightwoods' resemblance to Will, for sure. I just don't know how Jace came to be...He must be Will's descendant because they are so alike in their personalities (Magnus himself said so in short story "Magnus's Vow"). And they both hate ducks! But how does it happen...? and that star shaped scar all Herondales have...Will must be the first one to receive i guess, we'll see in PC2.

Hmmm what could it possibly be!? My guess is Isabelle and Simon... :) Jace would never ask "Did you like it?" but Simon would! And definitely none of Clockwork series characters, since none of them ever uses the word "Yeah". But then it could just be anything.

I havn't commented on this for a while, haha. So this discussion is very interesting and i like everyone's thinking and theories for the next books....Just for the record, Clockwork Princess is coming out in:210 Days 12 Hours 44Minutes and 53 Seconds!

I have a lot to say about number 11. Could it mean that this character is going to die? Or get turned into a silent brother? Sadly enough i have a feeling that Will says it.
I have a feeling that number 8 is Jem and Tessa.
16 seems familiar. Didn't Magnus have a dream about all the seas turning into blood and such?:
