ISBN doesn't work in search

I can find this book by typing the title in the search box. But if I copy/paste the ISBN into the search box, it says "No results found." Weirdness?

I think it was because the ISBN-13 on that edition had only 12 digits. I found the correct ISBN-13 and added it, and it comes up in search now. (The search probably only checks against the ISBN-13 field when there are exactly 13 characters.)
