I did!!! I couldn't stand it. I felt like it was nice to keep it so people's imaginations could take charge of the details, but... Really? She couldn't have even put the names of Katniss and Peeta's children? I think it was rushed, for whatever reason.
Yeah that's exactly how I felt. Like, forreal. It's like Suzanne Collins was saying, "Here have some super awesome complex plot with really intriguing characters and storyline. And to end it, I just won't."
Yeah, I totally agree. It was missing the amazing aspects that made the rest of the series so good. Which is why I'm wondering what happened. Did she just feel like leaving it, or did the publishers or someone else rush her to finish it?
I agree that the ending was no where near satisfying. When I was reading the end to Mockingjay it felt rushed. In the end of the book there is one page about the future. I have questions. Does Peeta ever go back to his normal self? How is the government now? What are the kids names!? And most of all, what happened to Gale besides that he left?
Yes. Yes she does... Now that I think about it, I really want to know what happened at the final Hunger Games; the one with the kids strictly from the Capital. That, I think, was the part I was most eager to find out about.
So, who else hated the ending?
