Do you think there should be another book? Something of Harry's son?

I don't think doing one of Harry's son would be any good because the drama wouldn't be there. Unless maybe some of Voldomort followers start trouble and maybe target him but that would mimic the Harry Potter books plot too much.

Did you read the prequel involving James and Sirius as young hooligans? I thought that was interesting :)

Well it was just a guess!

Yeah that'd be nice.
Or maybe Voldermort would have married in secret and have children. And the kids like start hunting Harry's kids for revenge for their dad? Maybe a similar plot?

Totally.

Really though, anything sounds better than the new crap she is trying to write.

All the stuff suggested here sounds as if it could easily be covered in fan fiction and probably will be. ;-)

really????!?! i did not know that!! how did u find out??

i totally agree with that!!!!! your right the books dont tell to much about harrys parents and it would be so interesting if Rowling would make a book about that! :D

Prequel would be fun! :P

I would really like to read about that "lost" time period between Tom Riddle's time at school and the night he tries to kill baby Harry.

Ooh, yes, definitely. Maybe Salem Witches' Institute in the US, even.

Yeah, I know, right?

I know, are you saying,
James from Harry's dad or Harry's son.
There's I think something with Harry's son and the book is James Potter and the Elder's Crossing.

Dumbledore is what?! OMG.

Did you read the interview? It's quite an eye-opener.

Neville should have married Luna! I think they are perfect for each other!

They would've been cute together. Luna married Rolf Scamander, the grandson of Newt Scamander (author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them).
JK Rowling's family tree sketch-out:

Yeah, I know, right?"
What interview???

And as for fanfic - some stories are great, but some are very self-indulgent. I just got 3/4 of the way through one and after 100,000 words nothing much had happened and there was no dramatic tension.

Yeah I mean seiously Rowlings, Dumbledore is you know what?!

That sounds like a good idea. *sniffs the air* Yes, I definitely smell a fanfiction coming on. Maybe even a group fanfiction. Somebody else would have to start it, though, since I didn't read the epilogue.

Mind you this is a really old interview. This has changed quite a few times for Neville. First in the movies where is proclaims his love for Luna and then other times where she mentions that Neville just stays on his own and teaches at Hogwarts.
Anyway, I would like to see something not exactly the generation after, but perhaps two generations after when something else is about to happen or there is a new crisis. Or I would like to hear it from Remus and Tonk's sons view.

I already started a group fanfic of Scorpius' life right here ;)

While I adore the world Jo Rowling created, I don't want any more stories there. Maybe small pieces to fill in blanks, but a new story arc with a generation not haunted by the greatest dark wizard of all time sounds, well, boring.

Well thank god nobody in my school knew!
It'd totally ruin Harry Potter for me!

Why would that ruin it for you? It has nothing to do with the story at all.

It'd just give me a different view of Dumbledore, that's all! After all I don't think anyone in my schools knows this.
