Did you do that for another awesome bookclub ;)
Almost finished The Priest by Gerard O'Donovan - it my first book by this writer. this book first in a series of Dublin-based thrillers introducing Inspector Mike Mulcahy, who is investigating attaks on teenager girls by religion-obsessed serial killer.
After finishing After the Darkness by Honey Brown...brilliant psychological suspense, I'll be starting Bright Air by Barry Maitland later...both Australian authors:)
I read
by Helen Goltz last night - received in the mail yesterday afternoon from the author... my review http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

Especially crime/thriller/suspense. Also can anyone reccommend say the best crime authour currently writing? I have slipped a bit behind over the last few years??
Why don't you borrow Rebecca from your library Clare?
Check out the threads for the top ten crime authors too, Clare:) http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/9...

Hi, nice to hear from you!Its hard for me to get out as i am 28 and sick (terminal cancer) so i have to rely on others to take me places but ill certainly try. Or I can buy it on amazon for my Ipad its much cheaper than getting the hard copy. All the reviews look fantastic though. Thanks for the suggestion.
Oh Clare, so sorry to hear! Well, like you say, your ipad might be a good option...though I have just checked Amazon's price and Book Depository is the cheapest.

If your library isn't an option, maybe BD with their free delivery would work for you:) Take care.

Might be worth checking if your local library supports Overdrive. That way you can borrow books from the libraries ebook collection to your iPad. It's very easy to use too. But personally I think Rebecca is well worth it.
I am currently reading so many things... Okay maybe not that many:
Dracula for school
The Map of the Sky and Risk won from goodreads firstreads
Celtic Blood, The Book of the Forsaken and 12: A Novel About the End of the Mayan Calendar given to by author.
They are all pretty good so far. And I can actually keep up with what's going on in all of them.

I'm not sure but I can. Although I have a friend who reads about 10 at a time and I have no idea how!

Yes Mish! I am still plowing through it.There is something the way it was written that gives you chills up the spine with excitement. It is my first book from that author which I found in Amazon via my Kindle, and I don't regret purchasing it. I have 2 other books from him, I will give my feedback to it as well!
Currently readingMiss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
which contains a little mystery with a liberal dash of paranormal, science-fiction and romance. I am enjoying it although it really is rather peculiar... Suppose I should expect as much given the title. :)
They sure are Michael! Some of those kids could give one nightmares! :) I am still not sure how it will end! Just over half way through now :)
Lynxie wrote: "Currently readingMiss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

I love Tara Moss too!! I don't think I've read that one though, I think I got to #5... coz that was all that was out. I'll have to add that one to the TBR list too now!!

I am currently reading "Ambrose Bierce and the Death of Kings", which was in a box of books I got from the library. The story is a bit unclear at this stage but it's well written and quite readable so far. A pleasant surprise. It's a historical mystery set in late 1800's America, and interesting from that angle also.
I have finally finished book 6 of the Wheel of Times series and now reading book 7 A Crown of Swords. I can wait until I finish the series and move onto something else.

I'm now reading The Vanishing Point by Val McDermid

I'm sure you would Michael, and the best part for you would be, being able to read them all close together, as they were fairly spread apart. So starting with #1 and going through would give you the full flow of the characters as they grow!

It was discover for me. I choose this book absolutely random. Tone of book is so simple and so straight , but it's so deeply psychological and meaningfull, it’s just amazing!
5 stars for The Vanishing Point by Val McDermid which I just finished. Excellent....review to follow.

In this genre I'm currently reading An Iron Rose by Peter Temple. Also reading Heartstone which is the 6th book in the Shardlake series. And finally Wolf Hall which satisfies my passion for historical fiction.
Brenda wrote: "I started reading In Cold Blood by Truman Capote today:)"Great book Brenda.Hope you enjoy it. Would be interested to know what you think once you're done.
Thanks Elaine. I'm enjoying it so far, even though I'm not far in. I read a brilliant review of it today as well.... http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
