Oh, that sounds wonderful!

It proves that we all have excellent taste when it comes to our junk food!

I am having what she is having...that sounds awesome..

As for booze, It'll probably be a flavoured vodka of some type.

But I think I'm going to make a fancy lemonade or sweet tea to compensate for the lack of booze and have some fruit with dip to eat.

Chocolate wine?? Oh my. What's the name? I'm going to have to look for it!

Get sparkling grape juice. At least you'll be able to fake it that way.

Choco Vine is one, and I forget the name of the other one I've gotten... If you just ask the clerk at the liquor store they usually have it.
It's cheap too, usually between 9.99-12.99 per bottle.
Enjoy! ;-)

I've bought this a couple of times and I HATE wine. There were some...unfortunate experiences when I was in college. As I matured, I never developed a tolerance for most alcoholic beverages and have been severely disappointed the few times I have brought myself to taste it during adulthood.
But when I saw that this store was advertising CHOCOLATE wine, I couldn't resist. I've found that chocolate makes almost anything taste better and I raced in to try a sip.
It was divine, utterly heavenly, and I could barely taste the red wine that was wedded to it. I thanked them and raced out, promising to be back. I withdrew money from my nearby bank outlet and came back, cash in hand, which really surprised them. Usually when customers say they will return that means that they won't. So they were surprised and pleased when I bought two bottles.
Yes, the stuff is very affordable. This store sells the bottles for $9.99. Whenever I buy one or two, I sip it as slowly as possible as a dessert beverage; one bottle generally lasts about two weeks. Loverly.

Our snacks also vary, but one staple is a bag of dark chocolate covered raspberries and goji berries. SO GOOD. They're a little pricey, but the bag usually lasts us a few visits, and we can feel slightly better about eating those than a thing of Oreos. :)

I'm very excited for this one, I quite enjoyed I'll Wind and am looking forward to the talk :D

JEALOUS! Missouri has ok wines, but we obviously don't compare to California.

Up until now I have had to watch the hangouts at work. They are on too late on a worknight. But I no longer have that ability, so perhaps I will pick myself up some chocolate wine and something Arabian to eat while I watch the next hangout from the comfort of my home.
(I haven't read the books yet, so I am just assuming that the djinn have an Arabic flair)

Try Les Bourgeois! I was really impressed with their wines. And if you go to their winery, they have a winery cat!

I didn't know you could bottle THAT. o.O
I've got a couple of wonderful cheeses, some charcuterie, olives and Dogfish Head's Theobroma and Midas Touch for the event. (Though I won't be drinking all of that! I need to go to work the next day!)
Does anyone else plan what they are going to eat & drink while watching? What are you guys having?
