Okay, I will admit that this was not my favorite as series go, but I still like it. I am however getting bored with it and feel that it's been too drawn out. Does anyone else feel this way?

i think it does, it just seems to be draging but when it comes to the last one it'll be sad to see it end but otherwise they drag and are no longer exciting
I liked this series, but I feel that they are streching it now. It's just become a major bore.
I personally really do feel like the series has been dragged out too much. I do tend to like long series' as well, but this one doesn't have the content or the characters to continue on any longer. Heck, I haven't even read the newest one because I got so bored with it. And I have a tonne of books (Literally) That I'd rather read before it.
I don't think the plot or the characters have been done well enough for the series to go on for so long, so yes, I do think that this series needs to end and needs to end NOW.

I love the series but it´s to many books and I just lost my interest. There should be 4 good books then the end.
I really love them I can't wait for more. We all have our own say. And I love the series.
Yes. Theres a point in all series when it needs to end. Some authors end before that point, leaving us readers wanting more and therefore giving them more opportunities to write side series. Some authors go waaay beyond the "should end" point and stretch the series out, which overall makes the series lose its quality. This is one of those if-this-series-doesnt-end-soon-im-going-to-scream series. Good at first, but I'm completely over it. Wont be buying the last book(s)
Granted, I think the series is great. It has it's ups and downs, but I haven't been bothered to read after Hunted, which in my opinion was the worst of the series. Also as I've brought the first 6, I feel I should buy the rest, but they're costing me between 7-10 pounds a book!
OH MY GOD YES. I do love how the series is going so far but Neferet just has to die. She's caused too much crap in all eight books. BURN HER ON A STAKE ALREADY GEEZ.

Inbox me, and tell me what all of the "too much crap" is, please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This series should have 3 or 4 GOOD books - this is to much. She should kill all of the main characters and end it.
It's strange. I really dislike all of the characters (maybe save for Aprhodite), but yeah, I feel the need to finish this series. Not sure why though.
The characters are stock, the plots lack anything interesting, and I'm not even going to get started about the writing and inaccuracies.

Nah. I never want ANY series to end. It kills me when they do. I tend to lovve the long ones.
I truly do not like this series. Its interesting but boring at the same time. I hope it ends soon because at the rate that its going at, I'll be and old hag when the series ends.
I really do love these books, but yeah... I think the time has come for the House of Night series to come to a clean end. It would seem that P. C. & Kristen Cast are getting tired of writing it too. They used to put out 2 books a year & now it's been how long? I've read other P. C. Cast books too (Parthanon series & Goddess Summoning series)) & I think she needs to write more than just HoN. It had a good long run.
I stopped two chapters into Burned. I was done and it became too awful.
i don`t think that...maybe cause i`m obsessed with books but i do think that...how do i explain this...when she moves on to the next level or you whatever u wanna call it (fourth former, fifth former, etc) it should be a new series...i hope i explained that right
I think 5 books is about the max for any series. It's like the Land Before Time Movies from when I was little. When will it end? It is a great series though. The books are kinda short too, so maybe that makes up for some of the books past 5, but now I can't keep up with them.
I love a long series too, but totally lost interest in this one. The story line is just getting dragged out more and more and I am not even getting the next one.
I got really bored with it too. Especially after picking up Vampire Academy. That was a great series!
I used to love this series, but it feels like it's DRAGGING so much, and so many of the characters are annoying as HELL! I am one of those rare people that gets attached to people you don't see very often, and I got majorly attached to Dragon and Anastasia Lankford. **SPOILERS!!!** Now with both of them gone and dead, there's no interest left since everyone else is annoying and doesn't apparently know how to use their brains to defeat Neferet!
neferet and Zoey should both die . . the end!!! . . . No sorry, I agree I loved the series when it began, I thought it was original etc, I even liked Zoey . .but as the series has gone on it has lost everything that has made it magical (apart from maybe Stark and Aphrodite!) . . .I am not waiting for the next book so avidly and don't want to read the others again before it comes out . . . .sad really :-(
I read only "Marked" ... after reading the 1st in series i felt it shud not be a series at all... 1st book will test the max of your patience with confusing thoughts of Z and very immature writing....
Any series in which a bad guy/gal remains undefeated in more than 7 books should just have the bad guy/gal win and let us all mourn the good guys.
I jest--kind of. It is a fun series, but very much over-done.
If you need 9 books, then here you are:
1. Marked. 3 books, builds foundation. Teaches us some of the Native American traditions from Zoey's Gramma, what the vampire world is like, how Zoey moves in that world, etc. Give us some rules and foundation. Neferet appears in last one.
2. Unmarked. 3 books with Aphrodite and a group of un-vampires involved in fighting alongside Zoey and her vamps. This was an interesting plot that didn't get enough attention. She draws the mark and the vamps show up, but I thought they were dispatched through magical mark signal or something. Let's explore this! Surely more people are doing the same thing?
3. The Red Fledglings. 3 books with Stevie Rae and her fledglings finding their way in the world and eventually teaming up with those that are marked and those that are unmarked to end Neferet.

I was just talking with a coworker about this series. It really needs to come to a close. It is getting too drawn out. 3-4 books per series (unless you are Harry Potter) and then end. Make them longer if needed, but please end this series already!
The series kinda needed to end after the fist book. After that, the storyline got totally messed up and things became too complicated and far-fetched. Marked was okay, but it all went downhill from there in my opinion.
I am not liking these books as much as some of the other YA I have read. One reason....the author uses the word "snot" so much it grosses me out. Seriously her main character is described as crying so hard she snotted herself.....ewwwww.
I will finish out the series if only to see what happens to the characters.

There had better not be another 10 books after Hidden. I'm annoyed there's this many already, get to the point already. Neferet better die in this one.
I like the series but seriously there must be an ending!
Maybe if they start another series it would be better.
So yeah I wish it would end.
